GGG Just Cannot Win

It is amusing that you ask which is it folks? The problem is the choices you gave are not the only choices GGG can make. Right now, going back 10 or so patches, the only choices they are giving is "nothing" or "fuck you"

There ARE other things they could be making.
GGG could make different choices I suppose. They could stop the constant power creep league after league. That certainly could be a choice.

Other than Kalandra, each league the power creep has been steadily rising, even with the addition of the Archnemesis mods. We are about to end the highest power creep league since Harvest, and we are going to feel it unless the tattoos and the currency printer that is Sanctum maintain the bar that Crucible set.

Crucible was silly broke. Correcting VC, explode totems, and poison was the right call to minimize the trivialization of content for low investment.

There are plenty of solid mapping and bossing builds available to choose from and some of the new supports may very lead to others.

Also, I recommend everyone try ruthless at least once to maps. It is actually pretty fun and you learn quite a bit about the mechanics of the game. I may go so far as to say it’s actually easier to learn and not as daunting as the regular version. Just get a few magIc find affixes and one is good to go.

Thanks for reading.

You dont need to play over powered builds. This league I plan on playing a Doryanis Fist build that will cap out at 1 million dps end game, not because i have to but i want to. People who complain about power creep when they play overpowered builds are kind of silly.

You've got to raise people up from time to time by giving them what they want. We all understand nerfs are needed but applying them constantly for years will obviously cause dissatisfaction

were in the tail end of crucible which after ascendancies is probably the biggest buff to player power that has ever been added to the game in a league.

You got that right, we are in the end of it. It will likely never go core and all the builds it enabled, all the possibilities it provides are gone next week. I was talking about long term changes that stay around. The only core changes that stayed around since 3.18 have been nerfs. Well and a handful unique items that were actually changed for the better among the hundred that got reworked.

Okay this I agree that people can be mad about. All the new gameplay possibilities that came with Crucible will be lost. Hopefully they add it back in at a later date with modifications like sanctum.

What a stupid statement. Don't pay attention to the many times GGG has said one thing and done another. Don't pay attention to areas of opportunity or bugs that just don't get fixed or even addressed some of the time. Don't pay attention to the patches that just decrease performance. Smile, shut your mouth, or f-off.
I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.
GGG doesn't care one bit what players say or think or want. That should be pretty obvious for anyone here long enough. I don't see what the problem is.
I thinks it's because of this weird thing where each person has his own brain and opinions said brain allows. Kinda messed up but until we find out a way to become a true hivemind as our great lord Beethrax intended, we will have to deal with the disgust of knowing different people will want different things out of this game.
My name is Kro and I'm an eternal casual.

I would put constructive feedback in the championing the change category.

Doesn't matter how eloquently you put any point of view, there will always be someone that will respond toxically to it or see disagreement as "crying".

The reality is that change is coming. Full stop. It is inevitable. The fact that GGG has used PoE: Legacy to take risks and test mechanics and systems to streamline and perfect the next evolution of the ARPG genre is visionary and I for one have been happy to participate in it. Especially if it will lead to better gaming experience, which from the footage of Exilecon it will.

Involuntary beta testing since release confirmed. The issue with constant "Visions" is that if you keep doing it, you suffer the risk of alienating a good portion of your audience, which is exactly the case this time, many voices in contradiction as to what PoE should be.
Poe2 looks to be doing more damage than good for this franchise, especially now that PoE1, GGG’s bread and butter, is a casualty of their obsession with experimental shenanigans.
