Please provide a safe way to trade between permanent leagues in PoE1 and PoE2

This is only for us standard hoarders who play the long game and love to accumulate wealth. I know we are the minority but still I would like to make a request:
For the permanent leagues only, so as not to interfere with league play: please provide a a safe and legitimate way to trade items in PoE1 for items im PoE2. For example: Player 1 has a mirror in PoE1, player 2 has a desirable item in PoE2. They trade. After that Player 1 has the desirable item in PoE2 and player 1 has the mirror in PoE1. I am not suggesting to transfer items between the games as this would probably be infeasible. This would make sure that all the stuff I have accumulated in PoE1 does no suddenly become worthless to me when I play PoE2. This would kill all the opportunities that a fresh economy could bring and would definitely influence in Leagues. I hope they don’t do that.

items work differently in PoE2 and so does currency

All the stuff you have stashed in standard is already worthless to most players except you for nostalgia’s sake, as standard is just a trophy case.
So not sure how that will be different when PoE2 launches. |

They mentioned that stash is shared across both.
So if stash is shared then you can trade seamlessly between the two. |

I think they said stash tabs not stash, if they let you use standard poe1 items in poe2 then their stated separate balance can't really take place.

" Maybe you don't care, but people in their 30ies with real life job don't have time to grind every temp league and they enjoy playing the game at their own pace in standard, being able to jump into new updates with level 100 characters instead of wasting their precious time by completing a campaign. I really love going back from work after 12 hours of stress and finally get my hands on my favorite character with my gg godly gear and smash some monsters. I don't think it will happen, Faendris. GGG doesn't seem to care too much about permanent leagues like Standard and Hardcore, sadly.
You would think a company called Grinding Gear Games would value items and their permanent nature when you accumulate them. Path of Exile 2 will feature a soft restart and all the time that you played leagues/Standard to accumulate stuff was practically all for nothing. Most players will flock to POE2, leaving the POE 1 economy in shambles because of lack of demand/supply and complete nihillism towards any item/currency in Standard. This really takes the fun out of playing lootgrinders.  Why would I suddenly care about items in Path of Exile 2? I would love that they give me copies of rewards and foils I collected through the years in Path of Exile 2. But I guess that will be a serious pipedream. Heart of Purity
