Mate, you've clearly soured on the game. Not sure if you want people to tell you that you're right so you can quit in peace... or maybe you want people to tell you that you're wrong, so you have an excuse to stick with PoE?

In any case, if you have this much animosity against a video game (something you should do for the fun of it) then stop.

Just because you soured on the game, doesn't mean it's objectively a bad game.

It may be bad from your perspective, with your preferences, feelings and character traits. But it would be false to equate your likes and dislikes with everyone's, or even the majority, like so many people on this forum and reddit does. Same way I can't objectively say this is the best game ever, because it definitely ain't for most people, even if it was for me.

In any case, quit or don't, but don't project your dislike of the game, onto the game itself: it's merely your personal dislike.

there are games where you can just slap powerful items on a char, play for fun and succeed.
you can do that in poe too, up to a certain point and it depends whether you call that point "successful".

you may not like it but you've probably proven to developers that they're on the right path.

You make no objective criticism. This "me and my friends" thing is so silly.

Poe is far from perfect, but it's clear the game is not for you and you keep insisting on it for whatever reason.

the game USED to be good. I spent almost EVERY day of 3.12 playing all day. no lifing harder than ever before. made multiple full aura stackers, some of the most fun builds i've played ( this is without harvest, remember) .. crafting was still fun without harvest, juicing was insane, there were things to farm for other than apothecary and the game wasn't 3.17'd yet.

The game is straight trash now.. that's a fact ( post removed in 3..2..1..)

what's funny is people are coming from d4 saying how they like the game then a week later posting about how weak they are, on death effects, map bonus completion... They don't even know GGG has d4 s1 patches... EVERY LEAGUE since 3.14 lololol. Just nerf nerf nerf, don't buff any underperforming skills... WAIT. i'm wrong. they do give them +2 radius buffs. And ofc they accidentally buff some skills with changes they didn't know would buff them ( mostly bugs or exploits lul ) ..


I too wish this game were good. I wish I had the ability to make my own arpg that wouldn't get sued by ggg or blizzard for making. it'd have to be very similar but ultimately feel and play much different.

Of course they keep insisting on it. It's great the game is for you but now imagine tomorrow it's not and now the game isn't for you. You now live in a reality where this is no POE for you to enjoy and no other games that exist scratch that itch for the POE you spent hundreds or thousands of hours on and would spend 10's of thousands of hours more on. That sounds like some sort of hell. You may say "it's only a game"... well so are sports, right? people that can't play the sport they love go into severe depression and some times take their own life. People bought MTX when they thought the game was good, then months later GGG can just come along and literally turn the game upside down, which doesn't seem right to me ( i think there should be legacy options to play a specific patch ) ( also don't read all this then just reply some bs about the mtx when you know it's disingenuous to do that when the main point is not that )

I'm not much of an empathetic person or care much for others lives but I know that there's more behind things than just telling people to go play something else or the games not for them so why are you crying.... HOWEVER i'll just leave it simple and say something like "it's trash" which I think gets the point across.

I'll tell you what I wouldn't do, is sit around on PoE forums and try to tell everyone the game is shit now and they're all stupid for liking it. The developers have been extremely clear about what they're trying to make and if that doesn't sound fun to any individual then they just shouldn't be playing the game. Telling them that isn't some kind of insult, it's common sense.

The fact that players played this game and had fun at some point doesn't give them any kind of ownership over it's future.
