Fusing Six Link Fun (Tell us your sad 6L story.)

That was my first ever 6 linked, and it was done in one vaal orb (years ago now), never bothered that much to try fuse one normally so i either buy the item already linked OR bench craft it.

While trying for a 6L I ended up with a 3-2-1 that I thought was a 5-1...silly me. It took me a few hours to realize it. Pretty much only until I went to try again for a 6L.

I'm fairly certain I'll be using a 5-1 for forever. I don't play enough to farm hundreds or thousands of those things. Unless I chance on the same chest I have with a 6L or a 2H that destroys my wand/shield setup.

I used to throw a fusing on each 6-socket item I found back in the day.
Got lucky, and hit a few.
Trying to 6-link items I actually needed.. not so much ;)

In Sanctum (SSF), I was working on my third character and had just over 7,000 fusings saved up and nearly 10k jewellers.

As I went to tell this story I realized I don't even remember what body armor it was, just something decent to hold me over while I farmed my end-game piece, 20% quality only.

I always take note of how many fusings it takes to 6l. That one took 4,300 and was my personal highest (although I have left some unlinked in past leagues so who knows).

I've quit leagues in the past after spending all my currency failing to 6l, so now its just better to use the bench craft unless you are a streamer.

6-link is that slot machine outside the casino you need to win before getting a chance to enter and actually wasting your cash on the machines inside.

Each league, I use up the vast majority (after early game) of my fuses to try and 6-link something (with some success in the past). But I know that I haven't 6-linked anything in Kalandra, Sanctum and the current league. Today, I find myself out of fuses once more after throwing around 800 at a Covenant. Thought I might try some poison LS or TS if it 6-linked, but you guessed it, no luck again.
Since they're already planning on getting rid of this system + the fact that 6 links are way cheaper than a few years ago, I fail to see why they haven't increased the chances for fuses to 6-link something.

I once spent almost 7,000 Fusings trying to 6-link a near perfect Belly of the Beast back in Incursion League so I could double corrupt it hoping for either 6 white sockets or a +1 gems as they were going for good money back then. It finally fused and I went into the temple, only for the item to go *POOF* after I hit the corruption table.

Combined we invested over 15,000 fusings before we got it to link. God those days were sooo aids.

I once used 5k fusings on a shavs...good gambling design I might say :/

Was that back when fuses consumed the quality? That's a shit ton of clicks if so. lol
