No loot in a loot based ARPG feels bad

lack of loot feels bad. why are we wasting our time? you need to give better loot so it doesnt feel like we are wasting our times. the drops this league is one of the worst ever,i literally feel like i am running maps for nothing.

Optimize your atlas. Do content that gives more loot, like Expedition, Blight, or Heist. You could even spec into Essence or Harvest.

There are also plenty of high-investment mapping options.

yes i've done all that but loot is still awful compared to previous leagues. come on man, you been here long enough, why are you defending them? you really didnt notice how bad the loot is now compared to 2-3 leagues ago?
they nerf the loot every league without telling us. this is why there is no more "balance manifesto"

Thats always been the case, if the current league mechanic doesnt drop a lot of stuff.

Any of the old league mechanics now available on the atlas tree, which did provide loot pinatas was absolutely insane on release in its raw, pre-watered down (aka incorporated to core) status.

Thats whats missing right now. It has nothing to do with bad loot (i.e. base game loot) or anything like that, its just not a loot pinata mechanic this time around and this is very much noticable for sure.

Hard to notice missing loot when you only engage with difficult leagues that force loot to drop. :P

This. Very important thing to note.

Sanctum was absolute gold compared to this, dropping 2+ divines every time I ran the full length of it. Crucible drops nothing save for the rare geode that's worth 10c. The reason loot feels bad is because Crucible is bad (unless you're a gambling "crafter").

I do agree.

Playing this game since delirium, and this league is the raw drop of chaos and better loot really worse.
Did advance three (!) characters till T5 maps, and raw dropped:
1 divine
5 chaos
0 exalted
Needed to do a lot the chaos recipe -never needed this before.
Needed to collect all the small currency for to buy chaos orbs.
Dropped exactly 1 item worth 20 chaos; the div card the patient.
Rest of needed chaos got from heist (I hate it, but is needed this league), blight and expedition. Still have nothing fancy (gear, gems, etc...)

So for me, the "normal" or raw drop of chaos / divine is approx. 1 chaos per character from act 1 till 10.
And 1 divine for 3 characters during acts.
No league before so extremely low.

loot was nerfed in general. nothing to do with crucible/league mechanic
i've been running cemetery non stop for weeks and not a single brothers gift card OR a single divine or anything of value. nothing. i'm running these maps for nothing.

i have a lvl 97 and a lvl 96 character. only had 3 natural divine drops. nothing of value dropped.

honestly this is just bad. i shouldn't need to run 500 maps just to get something

i'm just waiting for june 6 now

Depends on the league content you're doing. Expedition, heist, legion, blight all give out a ton of raw currency.

I think I had 5 raw divines drop from legion chests and incubators just today.

really? i mean REALLY? ive been specced into legion for weeks and not a single divine,but you got 5 just today?..i'm sorry but i'm gonna call BS on that one
