its been confirmed diablo 4 has no endgame at all!

they released their new "endgame" trailer and their "endgame" consists of new passive skills wich gives you +5 stat points and dmg boosts and nothing else and you got some dailies you gotta do every day and thats it yep thats it thats what you gonna be doing for the next 10 years do some dailies and spam the same dungeon/world boss for the next 10 years!

It's not my cup of tea for sure, but that's a ridiculous statement. It's a new game and end game content will be added over time to keep people coming back. I have no love for the Diablo franchise anymore, but your thought that what it is now will remain for 10 years is pretty out of touch.
Thanks for all the fish!

I suspect the 10 years was hyperbole Nubatron but there is no dodging that Blizzard is amongst the least productive developers, if it doesn't launch with significant endgame It likely won't get significant endgame for quite some time.

You also have to keep in mind there is a good chunk of confirmation bias going on, many players myself included expect the game to have the equivalent of mmo dailies on repeat as a fill in for content and it just checks a box in that area.

As per usual I want to be wrong despite said confirmation bias, as i'd always take a better game over a worse whether I play it or not but there is plenty of toxicity about D4 from saltmines worldwide regardless.

They have to leave something for expansions that they can charge a premium for. End game seems like an easy win to make money.

Accusing me of coping over Blizzard falling short is a funny sentiment considering my personal opinions on that franchise and the remnants of that company. Thanks for the smile though.

Yeah but apply that to Blizzard's IP's, size and opportunities and you'll quickly see my point, they hardly realise any of them and leave shedloads of easy wins on the table everywhere.

Also launching without endgame would be par for course on AAA releases of pseudo games as a service titles, ironically the most crucial component to enabling them to succeed in that model.

They might have got their shit together though if they do significant content releases and then drop an xpac they will make a killing to be sure.... But even as a type it it sounds so wrong to apply that to Blizzard I don't know if I can believe it.
I like(d) several things in Diablo 4. And while I always feared that the Paragon Boards would only be boring stats, I had a tiny bit of hope that they would be a little bit more than that. Sadly, we're left with almost no customization beyond a set of legendary aspects crafted onto boring weapons, where 90% of the affixes seem more or less irrelevant, while I really EXPECT them to be more relevant come endgame.

Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
