They should nerf Tornado shot and Spark first and foremost. Way more people play it and it's cancer for build diversity.
Also Tornado shot is to good at speed farming certain league mechanics and farming high value div cards. And yes it's expensive but many players have figured out how to farm T16 on a 1 div budget by now. Spark and Tornado shot also gets played way more than seismic, why would you nerf seismic when it comes to sc trade? let the gauntlets guys have their ban rules and don't touch seismic imo. Rightous Fire also a good candidate, way to much players doing it, even though it is not even good at killing bosses. But it sucks for build diversity, so it is time for the ban hammer on that one, too. Of course create good alternatives with skills that are not played very often right now. How about a good incinerate build for spellcasters or a good earthquake build for melee lovers? dunno just ideas... Last edited by Strickl3r#3809 on Mar 29, 2023, 11:57:55 AM

if you nerf TS you may as well delete it, its extremely sub par until invested in then it becomes S tier, its practically impossible to gut its topend potential without making it even worse at lower ends short of putting a stupid line like "maximum of 5 extra projectiles" on it.
Boneshatter is much simpler, just needs its downside changing to something non trivial to mitigate. I'd say its alternate quality gem needs changing but truth is it doesn't its the same thing, it was intended to cap itself by you taking too much phys it just never comes up. Realistically i'm more interested in buffs than nerfs as usual, nerfs are fine for parity but I just want to play something new i've not played in a while like the non scumbag animation strike skills. Been a while since i've done heavy strike. |

" Unfortunately that's not really GGG's strong suit. Unless you consider a 75% nerf, followed by a later 40% buff, an actual buff, which happens hilariously often. " They could go for the deadeye ascendency. Do sth like they did with trickster, have it be good again in 3-4 leagues, but make it not that viable temporarily... Other than that i am on the same page when it comes to playing sth new(old) for a change...I mean it is obv that some things really need buffs in this game. " instead of providing better alternatives to the most used skills by bringing unused skills up in power a bit just nerf them eh? nerf rf not cus its too strong but cus too many people use it? LOL you should work for ggg this is exactly how they balance the game hahahah (سಥ益ಥ)س (سಥ益ಥ)س (سಥ益ಥ)س (سಥ益ಥ)س (سಥ益ಥ)س (سಥ益ಥ)س (سಥ益ಥ)س

Anything summon related. I just know that GGG won't stop until Necromancer and summon builds are completely destroyed.

Tornado Shot's success is the result of other bow skills' failure. Why not just buff other bow skills? Current state of the game, it's too easy to be socket-starved. TS makes a lot of sense because it is both a mapping and bossing skill. Do something about that. Heck, even buffing melee would indirectly reduce the number of players playing TS and RF too.

" The irony is that other bow skills aren't bad at all - it's just that TS scales both single target and aoe damage at the same time. For example, I played lightning arrow + artillery ballista this league, and had a great time. The build plows through everything that isn't an uberboss, transitions itself smoothly from act1 to 40/40 with no bumps, and zooms like a few other builds. If I wanted to push uber bosses, then I would indeed transition into TS, but I don't think that's a bad thing - it's good for the game to have progression in budget levels. |
