As TFT -> RMT connection is confirmed, no action from GGG?
" I didn't miss it I simply used the data that is externally available. My point is I don't care what the very top end do in poe and mirroring items is a long term goal for many players who aren't at the top end. I would far rather ggg improved crafting (instead of the current convoluted mess) to up the middle players then remove mirrors. |

i 've always had suspicions that GGG may be complicit with RMT.
they could just hand anyone anything in the game for real money and we wont know. something on a lesser degree is GGG's insistence on gating atlas bonuses behind tough content as well as achievements, tends to give players who run carry services a lot of benefit. [Removed by Support]

" bruh touch some grass abt 1500 people bought the most expensive core supporter pack (with voidborn reliquary design) that is valued at almost $500 and you're insinuating that they are dirtying their hands to sell some crafting currency for 100 bucks or sth per mirror? They get plenty of money from supporter packs and mtx. You seriously need to turn back from whatever path you're travelling. You're not exactly Alex Jones / Kanye West tier yet but you're getting down that rabbit hole. Turn back before you lose the rest of your dignity and sanity. |

" I dont think combatting RMT for the sake of beating RMT is really a meaningful goal. Right now they are making game balance choices around TFT (direct from Harvest thread, which is one the most important shifts in game design since 2.4), which is run by RMTers. So we are seeing the game balance shift solely based on the types of items made by groups of RMTers for financial gain, and based on that, every other player gets less agency and ability to craft items for their build. I agree changing the game just to combat RMT doesn't make sense. Changing the game so you aren't handicapping your entire gaming audience to balance around groups of RMTers does make a lot of sense to me. You disagree? |

" No, I don't. But I don't see any solutions, without totally changing their stance on rates, crafts and soul bound items. That said, I've never felt handicapped - and I've used TFT once - for one thing - back in Harvest League. I understand that uber traders, trying to maximize their income do in fact 'need' TFT. Regular Joe's like me? Never felt the need, nor the want, and I think this "TFT is required" is vastly overhyped. And no, I'm not defending them or trying to say they shouldn't be banned. I'm just trying to say that this 'market' is easily ignored for 'most' players when it comes to the need. But yes, for GGG to use organized/discord trading communities as a factor in their balance decision, is unprofessional at best. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

TFT is basically a huge step in GGG achieving their dream of PoE recreating Diablo II nostalgia by having an old Web 1.0 era ecosystem of people needing to use a community for engaging with other players to exchange items so they're likely going to do everything possible to avoid getting rid of TFT dependency because its existence fits the vision of the game.

" as a company sure thats a lot of profit. but none of us can say with 100% certainty that none of GGG's staff has actually "gifted" players any currency/drops. none of us can verify if anyone at GGG had changed any players drop rates. there are people who say that a player that bought supporter packs gets better drops. how true that is is unknown. it could be a placebo effect. a company may be good, but what of individuals? i played many online games before and i know for a fact that in some games players could actually buy stuff off of real world staff who are corrupt. me touch grass? you touch my ass. my words could be pure speculation but is not entirely implausible. " one thing that was caught on video and seen by many was the streamer priority queue lol at least some proof that GGG manipulates the game in favour of some players over others poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead
