As TFT -> RMT connection is confirmed, no action from GGG?
" Yeah, actually forgot to mention that, limit mirroring to only once per item is a viable option too. Not only had GGG allowed dupes, they allowed stacking of dupes, so whoever farms mirrors first (by simply being there earlier than others) would get infinite power over economy. Is this kind of foundation worthy of keeping at all? Dupers live in parallel realm by now, compared to most other players |

GGG is OK with it.
Just look at the amount of stuff needed to go on a super endgame crafting spree. And now remember our super awesome trading experience. No wonder some people chose to bypass this by spending a few bucks. Also no wonder that they gather where the non itemized crafting methods (like Aisling) are easily available in large quantity. |

A limitation of how often a mirror can be used on a craft would help some. It wouldn't fix the problem entirety but certain items would suddenly lose their "long term" value they gain for selling multiple of copies.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. Last edited by Pashid#4643 on Feb 25, 2023, 11:52:03 AM

" this is the bare minimum and a more constructive approach than saying 'they need to ban every cockroach in the universe' yada yada. Mirror only once per item sounds like a good start. Obv they should still aggresively pursue botting and cheating of any kind. A change like this would do a lot of good + betrayal crafting benches as itemized tokens, so you can sell or buy your Aisling craft without using that shady discord server called TFT. |

We always how to look at the 'solution' itself, and if it would hurt the game - or change it in a way that makes innocent players affected. So to totally change the game in some way or another, make it much easier, much harder, limit trade, soul bound items and stuff like that, are in my opinion bad solution. They can't really make RMT dictate the mechanics of the game. You have RMT in all trading/grinding games.
Limiting the mirror market? Well, and I know the following statement is very subjective, and may contradict my previous paragraph slightly, but still: PoE's mirror service 'system' is stupid. There's not a single human being on the planet that could provide me with an argument as to how the mirror service shenanigans going on are 'healthy' for the game, RMT or not. So I would gladly see them limiting the amount of times a mirror could be used on the same item. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile. " once sounds pretty solid to me, you get one to keep, one to vendor to someone else for near infinite whatever you want if you happen to have the top tier one at the time. Innocence forgives you

I think i commented on a thread maybe 5+ years ago (wow....) that endless mirroring was a huge huge huge problem for the game. I'm surprised it was ever a thing to begin with, but that's perhaps because GGG thought for the longest time that excessive mirroring would only happen in standard (which they don't care about) due to the length of time and cost of crafting such an item. Over the last few years, crafting has become (net) easier and so there is more and more mirroring during a league, and yet GGG has taken no action for a very long time. Perhaps now is finally the final straw, fingers crossed....
1 mirror limit would be amazing. And it wouldn't even hurt the crafter's bottom line all that much because....they could just charge an obscene amount for that mirror and people would still spend it. And then they go around and just craft another mirror-tier item. It wouldn't solve the problem, but it would certainly SLOW the problem. And lets be real: slowing things down is literally the only trick in GGG's bag. Last edited by jsuslak313#7615 on Feb 25, 2023, 7:09:41 PM

1 mirror limit modding both items with the mirrored tag would be perfect to stop some of the problem with rmt.
but, in the end, GGG will do nothing about it as they probably in some way actually make money from it themselves poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead

There's 21 mirrors available right now on pc trade hardly seems like the biggest problem. Improve and simplify crafting and let the very top end muck around with mirrors.

" It is a problem cause the leadership of TfT not only hoards and controls the prices of mirrors but also other important crafting items. All possible duo to their shady rmt business Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. Last edited by Pashid#4643 on Feb 25, 2023, 10:36:28 PM
