This game still makes no sense to me no matter how long i play

Because he does massive DoT damage and the other bosses listed do hit damage.

btw warlord slam is negligible damage. Drox is widely known as the easiest Conqueror, lmao

Do you really even want this to be fixed? You want zero risk?

To me thats like turning on invulnerable in a game. I always quit less than 10 minutes later.

do i want to know that when i fight content meant to be easy its going to be easy? yes

if i go fight ubers i know its gonna be a hard fight
if i fight a map boss with no damage mods and it wrecks my face for no reason other than "hey we wouldnt want you to get bored, it doesnt have to make sense just die so you arent bored" thats idiocy

the whole point of being tanky is so that i dont have ot worry about dying in lower tier content like maps unless im super jucing them or running crazy mods which i wasnt

running a regular map on a character that can take on end game aspirational content fairly easily and dying to it is the epitome of the issues plaguing this game

"but just now defiled cathedral map boss [Removed by Support]"

Funniest thing I've read all day. Can Support please remove more pesky map bosses? ;)

The boss is Woad, Mockery of Man based on the bosses Avarius and Avarius, Reassembled in Acts 5 and 10. The debuff from the red beams he summons is Heretical Flare, a physical dot. Armour does not protect against it but you can get direct "Physical Damage Reduction" and "Reduced damage over time" (e.g. from pantheon) to counter it[1]. It is probably countered more easily by moving out of its way as it has only two simple patterns.

The thing is, map bosses and their effects are well described. That makes it so much different than that rare you had to hover over and figure out wth killed you, it enables 'setting that flag right' in your build.

If you want to. So yea, Lethe Shade. Because there is no flask effect to remove the dot or such, like anti bleed. And it's almost the same as bleed, except moving does not make you take extra damage.

So this dot is intended to be hard to counter on the side of the build to more enforce you play according to the boss mechanic, I assume.

But at least it is well described somewhere.

Did you try turning it off and on again?

Which is what I meant with playing according to the boss mechanic.

Thanks.
