I have yet to complete a full sanctum...

(i'm doing them in t16 maps since i want to get to the beyond area)

i came closest today and was only 2 rooms away from lycia and then i got a trap room and lost all my resolve in that one room. (always hated traps since lab was added but this is 10x worse than lab)

i get it its a "skill" issue but so what? why add a mechanic like this that less skilled players cant even complete ONCE? i just want to complete it ONCE to see what its like

is this what the future of poe is? you need to be some elite gamer with super fast reflexes? why make this so difficult? i cant even imagine how bad this must be for older people or people with disabilities etc

i knew i should've skipped this league when everyone in the live announcement predicted how bad resolve is going to be

if there is another league like this i'm 100% skipping it

edit- oh yeah the thing that makes me most angry is that i cant even try again. i have to grind 32 maps before i can try and that takes me 2 days. so 2 days from now i can try again.

It could be a dps problem. The quicker they fall the easier it is. Have you tried T14? It will also lead you to beyond.

i dont think its DPS..its the traps. and the guards just hit me even if i'm far away. or they teleport to me and i cant move away fast enough. i dont have good reflexes
i havent died in there just the resolve always runs out

It got better and easier once I dropped a relic with "gain x Inspiration" per affliction and another one with the same mod but per floor completed.

Its fairly easy to cap out at 1k Inspiration, if you stack afflictions and at that point you can basically bruteforce your way, if need be.

If you are limited to the 300 resolve tho its quite a bit harder.
Check your relic stash, maybe you got something with the mods I mentioned above.

nah i dont, all the relics i have are extra coins from chests or gain resolve when you kill a boss

i went in the trap room with 300 resolve and lost it all in that one room
i dont understand why they need to make everything so difficult. they are just pushing people away

For better or worse, GGG is obsessed with the notion that POE is a "hardcore" game. Players having it easy, or players getting rewarded is a sign of the apocalypse as far as GGG is concerned. That's why they make everything "difficult" and unrewarding. Just look at ruthless, that is GGGs vision for what a good ARPG should look like. They don't go to such extremes in the normal version because that would drop their playernumbers to oblivion but they do sneak in that mindset whenever there is a chance. The constant nerfing of pretty much everything that's been going on since 3.15 is a prime example.
if you are really bad with traps, you can learn the room names and avoid them

room names in general can help a lot

with the exception of the fireball trap in floor 3 and 4 all trap rooms have an easy way to avoid them

i.e. you can run in a circle to avoid the flamethrower traps in the rooms where the guards spawn over time and you have to kill them

on the last floor that room is different, but still easy with a blink (not dash) skill
you just "wait" till it starts attacking and run to the other side when it get closer to you just blink over it,you wont get hit as long as its a blink skill

for the fireball rooms you can destory them with totems without losing resolve

Enemies offscreening is a little obnoxious and cheese resolve loss, but after a while i noticed that guardians have yellow glow reflection on the floor which helps see them offscreen. I think that inspiration mechanic versus just resolve is quite inbalanced, if it happens that you find inspiration gain per floor or gain per affliction then its like 5 imes easier. Which ends up with if rngesus smiles upon you or not.

Oh come on, you are even playing a jugger, probably RF too, the Sanctum should be a joke to you.
