Unnecessarily difficult? Just because your build is not as strong as before and you are too stubborn to try something else?
Is map sustain better than it was before?
Yes
Are guardian/conqueror maps more accessible?
Yes
Are awakened gems more accessible?
Yes
Are prices of most build-defining unique items constantly going down because it is now easier to get them?
Yes. A good example would be Crystallised Omniscience which I don't believe has ever been this cheap.
Is the game overall easier after the AN mod change?
Yes
Is sustaining map mechanics easier because of the buffed Atlas tree?
Yes
Is juicing maps easier because of the abundance of scarabs?
Yes
Need I continue?
What you seem to not recognize is that every player has different priorities. And a lot of the decisions made by GGG are alienating players. Whether you agree with those complaints is irrelevant, they are true from someone else's perspective.
See, I don't get it, the game is objectively getting more accessible. This is not an opinion, its a fact. What also is a fact is that it does not revolve around single people, ergo someone should not expect their favorite build to constantly be strong. My favorite build last league was spectral helix, for example. Now it is next to useless, but this is to be expected. One way to deal with it is to complain how much "harder" the game has become, another is to accept what has been done and adapt.
I mean this is just the way it is if you want to play while the adjustments are being implemented. I prefer to wait until they reach the new baseline. You are not wrong though. If you want to play now you just have to follow the bouncing ball.
