What I will remember about this league is this stupid challenge, like the ultimatum boss fight challenge. This challenge dwarfs the End game grind challenge completely.

It's not a matter of build, it's a matter of wisely choosing rooms, boons, relics and afflictions.

Of course you can play a build that didn't fit the league mecanic at all but if so, don't come on forum to whine... Just assume your choices.

You have to be actively avoiding the rooms everytime to get stuck at 4/17 you get 4 in your first clear, they are right change your strategy rather than projecting

After being stuck on 14/17 for almost a month I have finally completed it by spamming 100+ sanctum floors and playing a faceroll build that cheeses any/all mechanics in the sanctum.

By far the longest and most RNG challenge for me so far. Unfun and unnecessary.
