Trading

I know the trade site has been a constant issue for many of us for a while. I know that GGG refuses to change it to an auction house. I get that, its fine, its whatever. I have a new suggestion.

Reduce AFK timer for going AFK to 1 minute

When any player who has items on the trade site reaches AFK status, remove their items from the online feed for items on trade.

If this issue persists, temporarily ban them from selling items on the trade site.

OR

IF PEOPLE CAN JUST STOP F*ING GOING AFK WITH TRADE ITEMS AND JUST LOG OFF THAT WOULD SOLVE ALL OF THIS

You know what i wish it was longer, sometimes i sit in town to trade while playing another game / watching a movie.

I enjoy PoE's hectic gameplay. Thing is, I HAVE TO CLICK WITH THE MOUSE ON SOMEONE'S NAME IF THEY WHISPER ME TO TRADE. Why can't I do this with a button press instead of stopping the flow?

Not just that, but you have to press Enter to have the chat window functionality enabled first, instead of just being able to right click when it pops up. The same for hovering over item links to view them and every other backwards archaic implementation of the chat system.

This is still the only game in existence that uses number symbols to denote chat channels and to change them, instead of simple commands like "/1" or "/p" or "/reply". No, I gotta do it like I'm using rootkit functions in the operating system that only engineers regularly use. Which is ironic, since they have things like /hideout /exit /passives, etc..

Also, a complete lack of being able to change the color of chat channels, and using the most ridiculous default ones that no game shares any semblance to.

Of course you have to press enter to enable chat, do you want the chat to accidentaly activate while youre zooming in maps and send 1234123 to a friend instead using your flasks? Thats why it works like that.

Trade is not fine lol... Anyone that believes this is....

The trading philosophy of ggg is that players naturally want better items and getting them from trade shouldn't be easy.

It shouldn't be as difficult as finding it yourself but if the person you want the item from is not available they expect you to spend an hour or more to get the item and in extreme situations wait until the person gets online again.

If you think the item is not worth it, just try to find it yourself :)

Diablo 4 Should break this dumb rule of GGG. They will have a way to trde that isnt from the 80'S

Yeah, you will be LESS able to trade items in Diablo 4. At least good, endgame items.
