I agree with pretty much everything you said. I was also that player at league launch. Its was terrible, there is no other words to describe it. It wasnt until weeks later that lake tiles were worth running, and the drop rates for currency and uniques were "buffed". I had never had alch, general currency, and map starvation like that. That launch weekend and a few days subsequent, were pretty shocking & disappointing tbh. Early in the league (first 10 days or so), people had to spec into Legion or Blight, or run Heist because the historic monster drop nerfs didnt impact the chest rewards. The gaslighting here that everything was fine and normal for "average" players is truly annoying. Sure the impact was probably felt alot more by the 6-man parties, that's true, but the lines about "average" players being unaffected... it's out of touch with what folks actually experienced. Yeah, I hear it's better now, but at the time, what players were seeing, and voicing concerns on, were 100% real, and not misunderstood. The misunderstanding and miscommunication was on the GGG end. I'm sorry he's frustrated, but to be fair, we were frustrated at launch first. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."
