League of BUFFS!

Finally got it... a league full of BUFFS with minimal nerfs.

I mean they RIPd alter loot while map loot was already terrible.

Pretty decent sized nerf hammer to my fav ascendency and RF early sustain.

Hurts the feels. Not game breaking, but hurts the feels.
I wonder what the buffs are, they outright say we are lowering the drop chances of valuable unique gems and unique weapons while "buffing them", making a AG is going to be expensive this time.. but no mention of minions so, I guess they like it and don't think it's shit, poor gaz.

Starforge for instance seems to have just been returned to it's previous form from years ago... [Removed by Support]

The fracture orb is cool (but harvest is nerfed again), we are removing loot cullers by making loot goblins even less rewarding and more random.

New memories.. I've not one drop, so it's good to hear something interesting has happened that might never happen will happen...

Hex master is a joke of a node, who is that for?, 20$ less effect for a permanent curse is beyond useless.

Was I watching an alternate timeline stream?

There really weren't any good buffs lol. A couple of the uniques are usable. 20-30% additional elemental resistance shred on pinnacle bosses if you use those curses. 15% additional action speed slow on pinnacle bosses if you use temp chains. Everyone is naturally buffed by the fact that archnemesis was nerfed.

Actual meaningful buffs? Zilch, zip, nada. Actual meaningful changes to skills or gameplay? Not really. The Frozen Legion skill looks like it will be really fun to level with so that's something. Revealed Vaal skills seem awful.

Hype train is completely off the tracks. Looks like this is a throwaway league before the big yearly expansion. 8 uniques plus remaining Vaal skills left to be revealed that could save the league.

2nd paragraph: There weren't any meaningful buffs.

Pretty disingenuous interpretation of that post.

The changes look pretty meh, maybe the AN change. The league looks like it will teeter on how amazing (or not) the actual league mechanic is.

This league is mostly only nerfs still.

Loot goblin removed - neutral - doesn't affect power
Eldritch altars - nerfed
Maven influence - buffed
WOTC - nerfed (on top of EAltars nerf)
Atlas tree - buffed
Rare jewels - buffed
Unique jewels - giga nerfed - nerfed drop rate, multiple used jewels deleted, many others lost the ability to have an implicit by being corruption-only
Frost Blades - buffed
Summon Skeletons - slightly buffed, I guess
Animate weapon - buffed on the high end
Curses - nerfed for all not-pinnacle boss stuff, buffed for pinnacle bosses
Despair - giga nerfed
CoH rings - giga nerfed
Heretics Veil, Cospri's, Ylfeban's, Felbog fang - buffed
Hextouch - nerfed
Blasphemy - nerfed
Curse-oriented cluster jewels - Doedre's Apathy looks good, the rest doesn't
Occultist - nerfed
Unique weapons - buffed, but made rares, which I'm not sure how to evaluate - many of their archetype's problem was not being playable until high budget, so now they will be even finer on a high budget, but not have these mid-tier weapons available
Animate Guardian - giga nerfed (kingmaker is a chase item now)
Dealing with monster life regen - buffed
Strike skills - buffed
Inquisitor - nerfed
Spectral helix - giga nerfed
