That effectively removes it though - if you can't tell what mob it is, it doesn't impact the gameplay in any way. Plus, they said the rewards will be more even out into time, as in the blessed mob will be more common but drop less.
I'd put Hexblast on the significantly nerfed list too, its got that classic GGG rework feel but its worse for every situation aside from optimised chain casting with automatic curse reapplication (same as lightning conduit but numerically inferior really)

Honestly its probably worse in every situation the numbers are debatable for chain casting but it lost such a wopping amount of topend for a real build as well as being given the worst cast speed of any spell AFAIK.

I had a hipster poison one lined up for league start and its completely dead, not quite the seismic cry rework reduction but 40% of the previous dps is enough to change it from HC viable to non-viable honestly. Some of that I'll get back from better curses but probably only up to half.

Edit: Its ironic too as they already nerfed it for ailments again from 60 to 40% more damage, keep in mind that the previous value for ailments was 120-180% dependant on how all in you went.

Hmm, let's check:
AN mobs gone - large buff to mapping
Loot goblin removed - neutral - doesn't affect power
Eldritch altars - nerfed
Maven influence - buffed
WOTC - nerfed (on top of EAltars nerf)
Atlas tree - buffed
Rare jewels - buffed
Unique jewels - giga nerfed - nerfed drop rate, multiple used jewels deleted, many others lost the ability to have an implicit by being corruption-only
Frost Blades - buffed
Summon Skeletons - slightly buffed, I guess
Animate weapon - buffed on the high end
Curses - nerfed for all not-pinnacle boss stuff, buffed for pinnacle bosses
Despair - giga nerfed
CoH rings - giga nerfed
Heretics Veil, Cospri's, Ylfeban's, Felbog fang - buffed
Hextouch - nerfed
Blasphemy - nerfed
Curse-oriented cluster jewels - Doedre's Apathy looks good, the rest doesn't
Occultist - nerfed
Unique weapons - buffed, but made rares, which I'm not sure how to evaluate - many of their archetype's problem was not being playable until high budget, so now they will be even finer on a high budget, but not have these mid-tier weapons available
Animate Guardian - giga nerfed (kingmaker is a chase item now)
Dealing with monster life regen - buffed
Strike skills - buffed
Inquisitor - nerfed
Spectral helix - giga nerfed
Lightning Conduit - giga nerfed
Lightning strike - nerfed
Onslaught - buffed, I guess
Nightblade - nerfed
Melee totems - buffed, I guess, for a price
Tainted fusings - buffed. Yay!
Harbingers - buffed
Harvest - nerfed
Party beast farming - giga nerfed
Kirac passive - nerfed
League mods - rip essence, I will miss you

So, split into groups:

Giga buffed
Midgame progression via AN removal

Buffed
Maven influence
Atlas tree
Rare jewels
Frost Blades
Animate weapon
Summon Skeletons
Heretics Veil, Cospri's, Ylfeban's, Felbog fang
Some unique weapons
Dealing with monster life regen
Strike skills in general
Onslaught
Melee Totems
Tainted fusings
Harbingers

Neutral-ish
Curses overall
Loot goblin removed

Nerfed
Kirac passive
Harvest
Nightblade
Lightning strike
Inquisitor
Occultist
Hextouch
Blasphemy
Eldritch altars
WOTC

Giga nerfed
Party beast farming
Spectral helix
Lightning Conduit
Animate Guardian
Unique jewels
CoH rings
Despair

So, some buffs, some nerfs, and no real meta shakeup

no poe2 either news which would been nice as people atm just waits for that
same meta 5th time in row i dont mind it im just gonna play rf again
what about huge mapping drop nerf?
I don't like AN nerf, I think they were absolutly fine, or at least new rares should get more mods to be more dangerous.
As for other patch notes, they're good.

That effectively removes it though - if you can't tell what mob it is, it doesn't impact the gameplay in any way. Plus, they said the rewards will be more even out into time, as in the blessed mob will be more common but drop less.

Just hiding the loot goblin makes it even worse if rarity still affects currency tiers.

You intentionally don´t WANT to read it, right? Again, in big this time, try to get it:

they said the rewards will be more even out into time, as in the blessed mob will be more common but drop less
I read it and it makes no difference if rarity still affects currency tiers. Too much focus on MF gear

But that doesnt have any context in terms of Rairty or Quantity. Does that mean with no MF on your character you still have potentially spiky results? I suspect not, otherwise what would be the point in the Rarity mechanic to begin with? So what does this tell the player to do, or respond? All this randomness ensures is that players wont for sure know what they missed out on, especially because we have no idea what the "baseline" even is. Overall, there is still very real ambiguity on looting and the randomness of the drops. I understand the looting randomness in general, and the need for some mechanics to be kept from players, but the pendulem has swung too far. Right now nobody even knows if its working as intended. (Hell there were a number of bug fixes in the patch notes where some other game mechanics flat out were not working... that's crazy and to me creates even more doubt about things)

And for the record, I felt like the Q&A with CW and Ziggy was really off-putting when discussing the loot. I felt like CW was gaslighting the community with his frustration on the loot communication and changes. Which were totally on GGG.

ANYONE that played early 3.19 could absolutely tell something was up. Many people thought there were bugs and reported (breaches dropping nothing, strongboxes empty, lack of alchs and basic currency, map sustain, ect..), It wasnt imaginary, and for him to say that it wasnt a thing, and "normal" players were not impacted is... idk what to say here without it being too personal to CW.

They then had to admit to massive league mechanic monster drop changes, because there were clips, and data comparisons, and videos (again not imagined) and embark on a series of patches over the course of a few weeks. I had left by this point in the league, but many people have said it's better now. Great I guess, but how can you still have a frustrated takeaway from the league, when the problems were self-inflicted, and not some sort of player delusion.

3.19 eroded a decent amount of trust, and created doubt. That's on them not us.
