The cash shop prices strike me as pretty high for what is a very mediocre game. From my playtime in the demo it didn't really seem like a game just worth the effort to play through once as an F2P player let alone spend any money on it.

Undecember is getting criticism for the cost of their mtx and stuff but PoE's is also outrageously expensive but they get a pass because the majority here are indoctrinated to accept it. Undecember is going to fail because they're greedy.

Undecember is litterly a scuffed version of wolcen and oh boy thats KEKW.

Would I rather be on PoE? Historically, yes.

Did I accept that I no longer enjoy PoE after Scourge, AN's and now Lake? Yes.

Is undecember fun despite P2W if all I buy is the $10/mo pet? Yes.

Sooo...I'll play undecember and occasionally check PoE news to see if anything changes. If I hate undecember, I'll go back to Lost Ark. When D3 has new seasons, I play those for ~2 weeks.

PoE doesn't need a "killer". People want to have fun, GGG is adamant about removing what I found fun, so we'll just play whatever is hot at the moment. ATM that's Undecember. So we'll play it.

PoE, despite the current state, is still F2P and by the pics of their beautiful office they're obviously doing just fine.

If you don't enjoy it, just stop giving them money. ATm trying to figure out how to link my phone and PC for Undecember but add me after xD

I guess PoE is pretty safe for now, boys. Until Diablo 4 at least. Undecember turned out to be p2w, and apparently Torchlight: Infinite too, and we all know how p2w goes with the Westerners.

the bosses in this game are very hard (act 5 and above) not your kitava level difficulty or POE's campaign bosses. I have to stop playing to subside my frustration from dying.

Nothing with heavy P2W like this is any sort of killer of any game. it just makes ppl sick to their bellys, unless... you have a belly of the beast xD

Its part of why Korean games rarely make that big of a splash over here, they have completely different cultural tolerance for microtransactions and what we view as disgusting they view as pretty normal.

Its a shame because on the all star development team there is definitely room for some Koreans, they really work magic with some elements then the money makers bloat it with parasites until we won't play it.
