As for gameplay I am fairly new and haven't even got to the end-game but seems like gameplay is not bad, but trading OH BOI there is huge question mark on that topic.

UnDecember Does have a rootkit. And it is a paint to remove (I made the mistake of installing the game, and logging in, then going to steam and finding out it had a rootkit). Supposedly the devs have added an app to remove the rootkit once you uninstall the game, but the fact remains that as you play the game, use the stupid AntiCheat Software, the rootkit is working and installed.
And before any rootkit/anticheat stans come in, no, I don't play Valorant, or any of the other games that had this particular rootkit (that includes PUBG). I simply won't play a game that has one, regardless of whether I think the game will be fun or not.
And honestly, it is a shame, cause I thought UnDecember had some cool ideas, P2W nonwithstanding.
Balormage seems to really like it, although as already discussed, Zizaren wasn't a want.

So, tell me in what is Undecember different and better? I answer, nothing. It's another generic koreian game with copypasted mechanics from other games.

It's combat appears to be slower and better though.

The slow-paced combat is really cool. It's what I liked the most.

Hmm let me think:

1) slower gameplay
2) no instant death by offscreen shots (by random mob, not boss)
3) much much better boss fights
4) better story
5) no death penalty
6) better crafting system

Not sure if better crafting system... more like mobs drop plenty of crafting materials compared to PoE and it feels a lot better since you have more freedom to experiment.

Yes thats true. As a casual gamer the exalted orb was so rare in POE for me that i didnt want to waste it for random experiment, where sucsess is so low. What is the point of such system? I find crafting very cool and fun in Undecember. Something POE should learn.
