Is PoE a good Game for new Players?

every game i buy or want to try, i always check it out first on youtube.
If i would come across path of exile this league, i would NEVER buy it seing all the hate and flaming on youtube, as a current player i can only thank every single youtuber speaking up against this BS changes, nerfs, call it what you want. If you are new, make your own decisions if you should start playing, my account was created 2012 and i only skipped one league and that was harvest, i played some for a week, others for a month. My advice would be: do not start playing path of exile, its just a bad game at the moment. The communication from the dev team is completly wrong, players are begging and rioting against xyz changes while devs are fixing zyx stuff, which makes absolutley no sense. Their priorities are total bullshit in my opinion and thats reason enough for me to not recommend this game. |

With the current direction the game is headed, its a really rough time to start as a new player. The addition of archnemesis mods really through everything out of whack. There also seems to be a lack of foresight as a number of decisions made failed to consider the impact it would have on the player experience. I also think they've forgotten how the fun factor can loosen or tighten our grip on our wallets.
Yep, totally over league play.

New players should play the hell out of Grim Dawn and Diablo 3 first.

Once you clear act 3,4 or 5. stop playing. it doesn't get better than this.

GGG is aware about the fact that most of the new players struggle with Hillock and will quit the game around character lvl 10. so you can say very early.
