" I feel you man. Raw curency drops are total garbage. 99% of currency I got was from crafting/selling stuff. First divine that I dropped was after almost 3 days of total gameplay. My character was lvl 93 at that point, I almost cleared the atlas. Now I think I dropped around 6-7 divines in total with 3 of them dropping as a stack from some rarity-boosted expedition monster(yay for the loot goblin lottery!). " If they were 100% blindsided then it was a result of their own sloppiness. Because the reaction seems pretty predictable to me. Furthermore there are plenty of known ways to better predict reactions; like testing the changes out in a playtest environment with some of the live players before the main release. Also, a lot of the problems were obvious just from looking at patch notes I can come up with something out of thin air: revert to a prior version that worked. Or at least revert most of the problem changes. I don't 'expect' a miracle patch ofc; but that's because of their own choices being bad rather than it being impossible to make something good from here. |
