Why is pathofmatth banned?

Ban was very justified. PoM acted like a dick and he was treated accordingly. Toxicity is not the way to go. Just compare him to Ziz that made a normal video on what he doesnt like, what he kinda likes etc. You can do such things without throwing a tantrum like spoiled brat.

Streamers, they like it or not are the faces of the game. They should be held to higher standards because their actions directly reflect on the the game. The same way i supported Empys ban for spreading and abusing bug the same way i will support removal of toxic streamers.

He is not 15 to not understand that his actions have consequences. Tell whats wong, even quit for a league but dont throw a tantrum.

Legally GGG can ban anyone... unwarranted or unjustified.

If GGG permaban him, GGG should refund his money. GGG shouldn't take that money and they don't deserve that money if they don't want him as a customer either.

Refusal of service for something you already recevive payment for is sketchy.

The consumer should have the right to sue the supplier for engaging in unfair practice. People should legislate to invalidates such an exception clause since it is very Unfair Contract Term.

And he should probably refund the money GGG have payed him to promote the game, when he in practice did the opposite? I probably think GGG have payed him more than he has payed them. That is - IF he was a promoted streamer.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

how do you know ggg paid him? I don't think they did because he would stream the game anyway so no need to waste money

I don't know, but rumor has it. How do you know he wasn't? You don't. And that's my point; we don't know. But if there's a chance he was being payed, that should absolutely be a part of the discussion. GGG have been paying a lot of streamers the last two years.

A quick Google search shows that Zizaran, Mathil, Ghazzy, Steelmage, Kripparian, Datmodz, raizQT, havoc, Empyian, Octavian and TarkeCat all "breathes PoE" (or have in the past), and they have all - at one time - been promoted by GGG. So I don't really think your argument holds any weight here.

what does promoted mean? getting a shout-out isn't the same as being bound to a contract and getting paid you also didn't mention pathofmath showing up in your googling adventure so that says enough

Read ToS. You dont own anything you have bought. You only purchase the right to use it. Its like this everywhere, Steam, Origin, Epic store etc. Also buying anything, even in real world doesnt mean you have free pass when it comes to rules. You forfeit that right by acting in this way. On top of that he owes GGG his status. No PoE > No PoM.
