Why is pathofmatth banned?

So, there are screenshots of twitch chat where Matth supposedely called an unnamed person without hair a bad word. Where is the connection to GGG staff?

Getting banned for that IN GAME is unbelievable

PoM could have just held his tongue. its his fault for ranting out in the public for all to see like a fool.
the same things can and do happen if you're an employee and get too carried away - you get fired.

people need to stop proclaiming every feeling, detail, private and personal thing on social medias. but at least if you do, respect and expect consequences.

While that's true but it makes GGG look bad. I guarantee you they wouldn't ban anyone if we protest because they need us.
League may be dead... but the drama is top notch entertainment. Who will they ban next?

(oh and btw banning him AFTER he quit... that is impactful.)

bans by a small private company aren't orwellian. In the grand scheme of things they matter very very little. There are many many MANY things in the world that are far worse. Please read some actual Orwell and consider what it means when these things are done by a government rather than an unimportant business.
Welp, another example of an adult not expecting to take accountability for their actions.

He said some outrageous things, in public, got called out.

Protip folks. Don't say absurd shit, and you will be fine.

As much as I like him, this seemed too much. He's a 'public' person after all, and can't just call names the game's lead developer.

Not sure if he is permabanned or banned only for the League, but if it's the latter, I don't see how he's losing much because it's unlikely that there will be such substantial balance improvements this league that would make him happy, and he himself said that he is quitting the league if nothing is done in the next few days.

could be said same thing about ban. Doesn't have to ban but this ban makes them look bad.

It's hilarious how you guys use example of employee talking bad things about their company. These two things are not same.

see, i disagree. i think this makes PoM look bad.
and PoM isn't a stranger to this type of stuff. lets just say he isn't exactly a stand-up character
Judging by the Twitch clip, I think it's justified.

He was repeatedly insulting Chris while streaming PoE. Freedom of speech doesn't enter into it because GGG is not the US government, nor American, and the US constitution doesn't apply in New Zealand (except in the US embassy, I suppose).
