Are you enjoying the league mechanic?
Maybe there's something we're not understanding about how tiles work. I had a shrine one with "increased effect of shrine buffs on you" that was really fun. Not sure if it was because the tile was further from the entrance or if it came that way.

The area's tileset is rather samey after the first few times, but very very pretty and well executed mechanically. The loot is pathetic, however, so I'm skipping every mirror I open unless it's got a ton of flat reward nodes.
Upping the difficulty seems pointless. |

The only thing i like is building the tablet to arrange a decent path with high numbers, and.. that's it...
-The lake visual is just sad, full grey, no life, annoying paths and obstacles everywhere. Kalandra looks like a statue put randomly here... Its just so... tasteless. Visually it could have been 100 times better, its a lake, i don't know put some life, small rivers, animals, trees and vegetation, make it look like a dreamy thing, not just grey stones ramping up and dead trees blocking the path and each tile being its own labyrinth of obsctacles with chest pooping when they want (sometimes after a unique dead, sometimes after a full clear, everytimes making you turning back to reaching it...). You could have given the Lake a real identity, or at least each tiles based on their thematic no ? -The rewards are really crap so far, the mist gives 99% of times a crap item for a tileset you build in like 10+ maps... its not even funny. -The difficulty is beyond reasonable with Archnemesis in the middle of Every content now, its just ruining the game. I mean tileset ilevel 72 at difficulty 4+ is harder than running my yellow/red map for a few "chance orb" and crap stuff... -The Kalandra lore is... almost nonexistent, just a few lines every 10hours and that's it, no animation, no feeling of anything, no camera angles.animations to introduce the area or characters, just like a random town NPC i guess... You will never learn how to improve storytelling to make it engaging or alive its sad, was an opportunity for PoE2 to raise this area... -I juste like building the tablet, up to this point you keep thinking "i will have some good drops, fun time, loots, explosions, interesting interactions and hopes..." and in the end its just.. .nothing worth, just a waste of time. The League Mechanic is shockingly bad. Sentinel was fantastic, 3.19 is minimum 10 orders of magnitude worse.

Uninspiring Slow Unrewarding Granted I've been enjoying PoE for over 10 years now, and still feel it's a wonderful game no matter how crap the league mechanic is. GGG just needs to put far more effort into the 'Fun' factor and less in the 'Job' department. I'm the Ps guy: Psomm, Pso, Psong, pso-on and pso-phorth.

Worst league yet, what was the point of nerfing builds when alot of archnemesis mods make mobs beyond hard to kill.

I feel like "frontloaded difficulty" is a huge issue again for this league mechanic. It's way too difficult in early maps AND the rewards are not proportional to the difficulty at all in early maps.
Some examples I can think of about what I mean with "frontloaded" difficulty: - Ultimatum. It was a real struggle to get anything done early in the league and I started just skipping the mechanic until red maps. It was rewarding when I got a good build online and just used it to juice superjuiced maps. - Metamorph. You'd just sometimes end up with bosses you couldn't kill in early maps that felt way harder than anything else at the same point in the game. In both cases, and in the case of this league, yes, it is ultimately MY fault for taking on content I can't handle. I could just stop at wave 3 of ult or just not do difficulty 8 essences. The issue is that these mechanics are just not worth doing if you can't do them until the end. A league should be fun and useful from start to finish. No. The biggest problem for me is it adds nothing to basic mapping. The game feels exactly the same as standard.
