I'm just after my first ever uber elder and maven attempts. I was so bad at elder,I gave up in first phase. Too much happened on screen I felt like no DPS to burst them.

Maven was really good, I'm ok with memo game, enough DPS to go easy through nucleus parts, all I need is better placement of these crappy vortex alike splashes. Heard that I should store them on borders but didn't handle it correctly for first time.

So from newbie pov looks like this build is maven friendly but currently with my equipment I should forget about uber elder. Maybe i will capture my next tries and some pros will correct my technique ;)

Uber elder one of them is always invulnerable. Check a video that explains it. You are going to ping pong between shaper and elder, then there is an add phases where you have to kill the portals. Then ping pong them again and another portals phase where you have to kill them.

General tip is to move clockwise always to dodge all the shaper stuff.

I do the opposite. I store them in the middle, because during the memory game, you really don't want to be stuck turning in the middle, where the damaging effect is at first. Plus, in the final beam phase, you want to stay more on the edges to maximize the space between beams and make it easier to dodge them.

Uber Elder is super chaotic. It's a matter of always moving and concentrating on dodging Shaper attacks. Shaper always looks where he's going when he teleports, so that can help.
I'm having horrible luck today.

Any way to keep crafting or salvage this thing?
Will the flame/flesh jewel for bomb specialist work for whispering ice?

hits have 20% chance to deal 50% more area damage
20% chance to take 50% less area damage from hits

It should work but it's only 10% more damage, so it doesn't seem worth it, and the other half is less than ideal, as you take full damage 80% of the time.

The flask section no longer mentions Bottled Faith.

I still have the legacy version which provides about 30% more damage when the enemy is on the consecrated ground.

Why was it removed from the guide? Is the latest version no longer worth it? The consecrated ground also provides reduced curse effect.

I don't think Bottled Faith was ever included in the guide. It's too expensive and its effect is too minor. The legacy version is obviously not available anymore. The best thing to do with that flask is to sell it and use the currency to buy something more important for the build.

Open in his build guide PoB Levelling Tree (LvL 70 End of Campaign) . There you can see them.

Do you mean the points that are outside the tree?

If yes, these are the ascendancy points. While going through the campaign, you come across trials (lots of spikes and traps). When you finish them and touch the stone, it completes them. When you've completed enough (3, then 6, and then another 6), you can run a labyrinth. You need to go to the Sarn Encampment, then touch the statue and go through. You can then access a gauntlet. When you finish it, you can touch an altar that will let you pick an ascendancy (we choose Trickster foo this build) and every time you complete a new level of lab, you get two points to invest in the ascendancy tree, that is outside of the passive tree in PoB. The last lab requires finding an offering of the godess instead of finding trials. You can have a maximum of eight points, plus you can equip the unique jewels "Forbidden Flesh" and "Forbidden Flame" to allocate another from your class.

Hope that's what you meant!

Thank you this helps a lot.

.
I have sourced and crafted what seems to be the perfect armour piece.

However, I am very new to crafting and have no idea how to get it BIS.

Could someone help me with detailed steps from here to get it as close to perfect as possible please?

I just crafted this amulet following the guide, and got lucky with suffixes. Glad to have enough strength!

There are 2 prefix slots, I think that the best would be energy shield related (max energy shield % + # energy shield).

I'll have to try my luck with an exalt on this. Just wondering if there can be another approach that can give me a better result?
