I have no issue with 60$ and 15 monthly + cosmetics shop if this means they will continue to develop the game, but looks like you ll be able to buy gear/currency with boxes and that is huge no no.

Rod Fergusson, an overseer for the development of Diablo 4, tweeted that the next game in the series won't be pay to win. He states that the game will be built to deliver a wide breadth of content both at launch and after with the only microtransactions being present in cosmetics and full, story-driven expansions

No, Blizzard is not going to let you make real life money off their intellectual property (digital items), that Blizzard owns. They closed the RMAH in D3 for good reasons. Besides short circuiting the actual gameplay, it runs into all sorts of financial laws that Blizz does not want to mess with. They closed it the day certain federal laws went into effect. I don’t think that was a coincidence.

My research has revealed that the players who say

Spoiler
"Show me proof D4 will be P2W!"

are the same players who also say

Spoiler
"It's just BETA, they will fix everything at release!"

who then also claim

Spoiler
"I broke up with her first!"

That's just what the research has shown.

Diablo 4's looking more and more like a Diablo 3.1 with the gameplay they've shown. Maybe it'll show up on Steam when Microsoft buys them, I don't care enough to download their launcher again
POE 2 and Diablo 4 is probably the last triple AAA ARPG games we will ever see in this century.

The success of Diablo Immortal suggests that you don't need to create triple AAA games to earn hundreds of millions dollars.

People can stop this trend by not paying for it. But evidently they did. So enjoy the last of the triple AAA ARPG games in our era.

Makes sense and reminds me of KONAMI in 2015. No more good MGS games, they got rid of Hideo Kojima and now just make money with trash games.

While that seems pretty sad most genres never get AAA games already, AA is where its at it might seem like a loss but the best creatives are in smaller studios with less overhead from marketers trying to justify their existence.
