Why some people prefer to play SSF ?

I love ssf bur it's not for everyone

ssf is mostly for players who have too much time on their hands

^some variations of that statement involve something on the lines of "i want to experience the rpg nature of poe" or whatever, but it sums down to "i have all this time to spend, ssf it is"
I like the idea of HCSSF but SCSSF seems boring.

But if they kill the trade market on console I suppose I will have to play SSF because F that
Been SSF since it launched as a game mode.
I don't play it because I "have lots of time on my hands"
I can pace it myself, and deal with my real life obligations.

likewise. Buying endgame items is not fun or rewarding. It's also "easy mode" where you don't need to engage with a lot of games mechanics because you just instantly buy power.

Game should be perma-death by default. Gen-z gamer - godmode/respawning and buy all my items from daddy with lucky drop and currency. > still complains the xp penalty on death is tOo hArD.

Hell, the only reason I don't play SSF is if by chance one of my friends wants to play with me.

In an arpg the drops are what drive me, farming currency to buy your gear feels lame and a half. I'd rather trade items for items.

But I'm not paying for a private league just to possibly SSF with friends, so I just play trade league solo

That was the original intention of GGG for this game...... but humans love the idea of currency so we have the stock market simulator instead.

ssf is just superior game mode
It's quite simple in my case:
I don't like trading and I don't like party play (and I have no RL friends on this game, partying with people I don't know isn't fun).

So might as well play ssf and get credit for what I was doing anyways.
