Why some people prefer to play SSF ?

It's like hey I found a build enabling unqiue but most of the time it's not my build therefore I need start a new character and replay the campaign . I heard some people say they hate trading that's why they play SSF then complain on guild chat about not finding the div card dor over 50 maps . Like what the hell ?

I'm going to try it out this league so I don't succumb to spending my currency on dumb things. SSF will help me keep and not waste a bunch of progress on gambles.

It comes down to this: People do not like to feel like other people beat them at the game, in SSF there are no other people just you.
It is also fear of missing out on trades. Which is removed by being unable to trade.

I make SSF character every league, but at some point i'm like "well now i have 0.0000000000001% chance for upgrade, time to convert to trade league" and go flip items untill i have 400ex of old value, finish up my build and help others as carry or by sniping stuff for them and PoBing their character properly.
never tried SSF. seems a bit punishing in a grindy game like this. even with BIS gear endgame content is getting really hard to beat let alone with SSF gear. buying gear makes things a bit easier
Some people like extra challenge. Some people like to prove they can achieve something w/o help of a trade (and best way to do it is SSF since otherwise no one gonna believe you).

You shouldnt project your problems on others lol.

I (mostly) play ssf for a while now cause progress in tradeleague is just too fast and easy (if you know what you do/have a lot of time), so i burn out super fast and cant enjoy the game really.
Also i enjoy crafting my own stuff more than trading, and i prefer to make new builds from what i find myself and then farm the other stuff i need for them - instead of having an idea, just buy most of the stuff i need for it, run through story, equip the toon, and then quit it again cause its done more or less... also burns me out super fast.

streamers prefer SSF becuz you make much more slower progress there and since they dont wanna burn out too fast on the league becuz they need play poe to make money they play ssf

The progress is not any faster in trade league, it is faster if and only when you decide to trade in trade league because of FOMO.

If ssf had different droprate, harder monsters, league rewards and other differences It would make sense, but at the moment the difference is nothing of substance. It is literally just prevention of thinking about "I could be flipping items right now" "I could upgrade right now" and saying "no, i will do it myself, thanks".

For streamers it is bit different, as they can use it as excuse for not playing with fans, not helping them carry bosses, to not get accused of being spoonfed best items, or RMT

zizaran..?

Also I would put my 2 pens here:

I allways start ssf and transition to trade.

But I wouldnt recommend that, because I just feel bad when im 4-5days in league and could have make a "big buck" by finding something nice to start with. In early game a 6link could howl you some nice C in, but later its just vendor trash.

I will play ssf this league only, just because trade league is to much stress for me, while I'm working full time the chase after Currency is burning me out in about 2-4 weeks everytime.
