" If GGG's gonna keep nerfing player speed while adding increasingly expensive price tags in order to keep builds functional (this includes archnemesis making the game harder for everyone), then they need to do something about timed league content. Those activities punish you for being too slow. Timers need to be made either more generous to account for everyone being slowed down or outright removed. There's no guarantee that there will be buffs in the form of item mods. Way too many things were hit for summoners (480% loss of crit chance from power charges, 33% attack and cast speed loss from frenzy charges, 100% crit mastery removed and put in a large passive cluster) for gear mods to compensate. And even if it does, could you imagine how ungodly expensive it's going to be? PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! " The issue with this rings/shield skullduggery is, it is going to cost you 1 or 2 prefix and/or suffixes on your jewels, that was already on high demand. So even this is a nerf to jewelry. Anyone watch the livestream and/or read the patch notes for 3.19? RIP summoners.

A lot of minion helms still only have +2 to socketed minions, so that makes them easy worse than they were. Before this patch they were a net -1 or par with rares, now they are significantly worse because the minions are balanced around having global mods now.

I see a lot of added power in various items but sadly so far no hope for escaping the bindings of the Midnight Bargain

Heartbroken...another league of nerfing summoners to the ground, and there was absolutely no reason for it.
The only thing that needed tweaking were mages...not everything related to minions. Hell, even mages weren't all that UBER powerful in the grand scheme of heavy investment, endgame builds. The vast majority of minions were in a bad state after the last 5 rounds of nerfs, their brand new reaper minion was a disaster right from it's invention. And now they are ALL significantly weaker?! Just tacking on here to agree. I think it's sad that there are so many minion options and they all suck and there's no desire to make them better (despite what this patch might be trying to narrate)
Once PoB gets updated I'll play around with trying to find either a way to convert my current Carrion Golem build to still be viable as phys, or check out maybe a poison or ignite or chaos based build but I'm just not seeing it right now. It's not dead. Only pure specter builds or pure zombie builds will be trash now, as their HP is so low they might as well be temp spawns....Which you can utilize in some weird Minion Instability build where everything dies *shrugs*
As long as your build don't rely on the survivability of Specters and Zombies, you can actually make much stronger builds now with the changes made, and the new options available. "There he goes.
