Want to share why I'm losing interest in the game on the daily basis
I don't know what to do. I like this game, but I feel annoyed about trading system, because:
● I can't see my nickname on the site immediately after price set in the game. ● If I set price for currency in the float type, I will not see it on the trade. ● Some exiles that 'Online In League' are exactly offline. ● To tell the truth an enormous part of exiles hasn't responded for trade request or afk, or have dnd mode. ● Also, scammers are existing in the game and game isn't protect of it. ● Tabs in Chrome are turning to the main pages on the next day, and you should prepare your special filters again and again. ● I have 5 tabs and frequently have message that I made so many requests, but I only opened browser or used adifferent filters quickly, and I need to wait some time till blocking is expired. ● I lose portal every time when somebody has sent request to me. ● My game is lagging due to opened browser with poe tabs and my personal tabs. ● I am silent about the process of trading and visiting another hideouts with loading screens (it can take much time). I really want to play game and I don't want to play trade-simulator. We need auction which seems already exists in every Action/RPG game to escape mentioned problems and focus on game content. It's unbearable. GGG, please save time of your exiles that we can spend more wisely!!! We all understand that trade is important, but it should be used in the different way. Chris has addressed this many times already. He doesn't care that we collectively want a better trade system. We're not getting it.

the current trade system is there to give your items some value because you can THEORETICALLY sell it.
but in reality, developers don't really want you to trade items or currency. they want you to find your items ingame cause the feeling of being gratified is much higher there. so yes, the current trade system is uncomfortable, clever people exploit the not so clever people, it tries to compensate the usage of stash by motivating you to not advertise too many items cause you can't play the game then and so on ... but that really doesn't help the fact that trading for items is easier than finding/crafting them. means, trading is still superior to getting the items yourself. it still needs to be nerfed. -- auction house? what's the use of advertising your item for 3 days while it collects bids from players?, especially if it's blocking stash space during this time? age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

You need to read the trade manifesto. Unfortunately, nothing is going to change.

" .............................................................................................................................You cant be serious, trade is so toxic right now that i've stopped playing the game after investing 30k+ hours of my life into it. I actually craft as much of my gear as i can it depends on the methods/recipes and frequency of encountering them, i'd reckon a lot more recipes used than most people yet still its so toxic to try and enjoy the game now with issues like: - AFK listings taking up 98% of my trading time - Botters sucking the rivers and lakes dry - RMT making everything more expensive or the opposite A good chunk of the "high skill" players are actually RMT suppliers even streamers nowadays which honestly i don't want to care about but all of these things have come together to create an environment where im not able to enjoy the game without dealing with these actors in some way or another if i want to trade. I post about auction houses/etc stuff a lot but all i really want is the current system to work and if GGG cant do something about the botters/rmt then give us tools to fight back as legit players trying to enjoy the game not: - Pay our real life bills with the money from RMT - Entertain our audience which is also (many streamers only source of real life income) ^these people are not playing the game, This is a real life job for them. Please consider a players perspective when making statements like: - Nerf Trading I don't mean any offense here so i hope it didn't come off that way, This is a frustrating topic though and there's a lot of pieces responsible for why things are the way they are. " considering? of course, there should be a chance for max 5 to 10% of the playerbase to farm endgame content in a multiplayer game (80+% in a single player game). how does that view sound for all player's desire to reach the latest endgame bosses? they're calling you crazy cause they can't distinguish multiplayer games from single player games. to make that worse, multiplayer games that bind all the good stuff to accounts and have no important game elements itemised to be traded in the first place are similar to single player games. i'm absolutely not up to date with the current multiplayer game's scene, is there a comparable game that has no account bound stuff and has every important aspect of the game itemised and freely worldwide tradeable? -- for most aspects, the player view is unimportant. the game sets the boundaries, the player fights against those challenges and tries to solve them. how far he comes and how fast he wins those challenges is important. the individual player's expectation how fast he wants to win might play a role in game design, but it's not a important one. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" Short answer: no. We didn't have many fully new releases in the first place especially if you exclude re-releases from the asian market but for a lot of games trading doesn't align with their entirely stupid monetization based around account progression and heavy time gating because you're just consuming a service and not playing a proper game anymore. Also if you ever wonder if you're missing out on anything - no, online gaming (as in MMOs and not couch co-op) is a complete joke in general. |

GGG did mention wanting to remove the reliance on TFT. they've also said many times they don't want to add an auction house. either they have something else in mind to improve trading in game, or perhaps they'll begrudgingly add an auction house when they realise they can't have it both ways.

"nerf trading" sounds just like an idea devs would listen to.
