how fast poe2 will becom ultra fast speed race trash with 99% useless trash loot and NO craftin?
Im not sure why anyone thinks they will really slow it down.
The gameplay footage is not slower than Act 1 when you start with no gear. Its not slower than how they show MTX. I do not think it has much bearing on what playing will be like two weeks into the game. |

If PoE 2 didn't share an endgame with PoE 1, I could actually see them slowing down the game a lot. But to slow down players in maps, requires a SERIOUS amount of work. The game isn't balanced to go slow. Monster damage, monster density, after death effects and timers here and there tell you that "going fast is key".
For them to slow down the game, all of that has to be reworked. Not just nerfed, but totally reworked. Do you see that happening in PoE 2? In the old acts as well as the shared endgame? Because I don't. While I like going semi fast, I think the ceiling of how fast you can go, is too high. I would actually welcome a shift in pace. I just think it's such a serious task and too much work for them to pull off in a good way. Sure, they could nerf everything that makes a character go fast, but then everyone would just die. Nah, I don't think the "new", shared endgame in PoE 2 will be much slower. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Its slowing folks down alright. Just its not slowing down everyone.
The changes are not ubiquitous in effect, and smack of force. Currently the game seems more like a Bullet-Hell game, than a ARPG (whatever that is, really). Someone awhile back commented on POE stating that it is a 'Rube Goldberg Machine'; a complicated mousetrap, and it definitely is now. Last edited by Gation#5322 on Jun 17, 2022, 2:49:45 AM

11% power creep per league so 4-8 leagues, a year or two.
Except trash loot it will launch with that, if they were motivated to fix it it would already be fixed. |

It will start from the spot of PoE1. I dont know why you ask this stupid questions like its a new game when it just a 4.0 patch name.

Why all the questions about POE2 ?
People really think they can beg for informations about release and stuff like that doing all this sh@t threads ? Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.

They did try to slow down the game in 3.15 and failed tremendously, since people realized that the game suddenly started to ask for more time investement to get to a point where you previously got in less time.
Slowing down the game only works when the rewards are adjusted accordingly. But "slow" and "poe" dont work well together for me. Its one of the reasons i started to play the game to begin with. When the game starts to become a slow slog, i burn out super fast like in 3.15. |

For players like you that get 40/40 every league. I say 40-60 hours.
For players like me that haven't had a single char to 100 or a 40/40 challenge ever. I think never. Sound the dread alarm, through the primal body! Sound the reveille, to be or not to be. Rise! Stay the grand finale! Stay the reading of our swan song and epilogue. One drive to stay alive! Elementary, muster every fiber. Mobilize! Stay alive!

if PoE 2 is slow, its dead on arrival, why play the worse game when PoE 1 will still be live.....
R.I.P. my beloved P.o.E.

I think it's going to be pretty much identical to current PoE, but the equivalent of adding 2 big expansions at once. If you slow the game down to a crawl with no way to feel like old PoE you're just going to lose players.
