I'd have those up there. Obsidian let me down with Outer Worlds. It's definitely not the same company that made New Vegas. Neither is Gearbox the same company that made Borderlands. When you lose your best writers or developers you lose a lot of quality. Unknown Worlds Entertainment also took a dive on Below Zero. Look at Bluzzard. It's a prime example of the Pareto principle at work. |

As a developer they are good.
As game designer is where it becomes questionable. Its also questionable how much of their choices are their own and not tencent influenced. POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1. |
