poe is a masterpiece that undermines itself down to just a "pretty decent" game due to a quite a few randomly idiotic decisions.. and one of them is balancing the game around logout macro

and then you tell these hc whiteknights to play sc since youre cheating out of death anyway and they go "well sc is too boring because theres no challenge" --- yea well logging out everytime your hp drops below 95% hp doesnt really challenge your survivability now does it :|

Their are some very gut logsout macro if your wiling to put in EFORT to finding then.PoE is aprofesional master peice and carefuly balanced arond these macro.

Unfortunatly playrbase has become veruy entitled. Design philosopy was meaent for hc PROFESONAL PLAYERS.Their are thousand of viable hc builds evry league able to reach lvl100. Thisis obviosly a L2P issue.

If you want to cheat in a game to play on a difficulty you obviously aren't skilled enough to handle by using a loophole the devs ignore, knock yourself out. Only everyone will think less of you.

Bulding tanky charavcter is ezier than it have ever been.You can litrlly defaultattack Sirus and under20 ex invsestment make imortal build. You go overcaped max. res,spell supression(stil not nerged),125 000+ AR maxevasion build with layered defences.

I'd like to note that many of us HC players are not using logout macro (in any form). For heck I wasn't in many leagues even using ALT + F4 manually pressed even if I knew that I'm likely to die (since I deemed that unfair way). In some leagues I have used that ALT + F4 since I was pissed from the 1 shot / random death situations.

Only point where I'd consider ALT + F4 is ok is when big lag happens >2s and that's apparent when it happens beyond doubt. Not unlike streamers excusing themselves that there was hard to notice lag.

Only true way to get out of battle is to use portal scroll/spell/run out. Well if you can't then you battle till you die or do it!

When you decide to play in HC you should ask yourself why are you doing it?

Just to cheat your way that you somehow managed to survive e.g. till lvl 90 or do it properly to see what it takes to accept the proper challenge regardless of environment being fair/unfair.

In case of POE it's definitely unfair, but not to the point many players think. With good connection D/C die reasons are seldom and even if it happens, your character should survive it in most of the situations.

Oversights of developers with unhandled and unintended 1/fast full HP shots are unfortunatelly as common. That's what is the main reason of unfairness along with intentional destruction of builds which has been working last league.

Wonder what the next over-done topic to be revived for the sake of it will be. Good money is on an auction house, but maybe someone will revive the old "I hate the Lab" thread. Don't know. Not unpopular enough. Too soon for the "tabs are P2W" to go again.

We're still in the game is dead phase, where people weaponize the stats from end of league to make it look legit. But with the league announcement this afternoon, we're likely entering the overthinking of the upcoming league posts (another nerfs/zoom-zoom/micromanagement/takes-me-out-of-maps/etc. league).
