The Maven fight needs to be fixed.

Can u explain how this fight is luck-based? Literally every maven attack is telegraphed, maybe u just need to work on your movement man.

the only problem with the fight i have, is that its scaled with dps.

very good dps = stupidly easy
low dps = harder the lower the dps. and not because the fights takes longer and you need to move more, memoery game etc. but because the fight mechanics which need to be stacked(ground dot). even with good movement you will make the last phase a lot harder.

everything else? learn to dodge or build to outlast.

Agree....

If those damn mini balls that create that degenerate ground wouldn't exist, or they would disappear after a fair amount of time , the fight would be okeish...

Those damn things make phase 3 almost impossible for lower dps to kill her...even if bulked up...

This is why go big dics and finish her before that degenerate ground makes it impossible.

everybody here uses the exploit to logout to skip the memory game, i see

Because in the final step, the memory game is hella luck-based if you dont instaquit every time it triggers

Going back and forth 7 times between 2 adjacent regions? Easy-peasy
Running 3 laps across the arena without touching the rotating stuff or the growing degen zone? Thats... kinda hard...

Sure there is RNG in that. But what is hard about getting to each section for memory game?

If you set the arena up properly you are fine. When I say set it up properly, I'm referring to the void circles from the balls... Position them in a way they cannot block your path. This is part of th challenge of the fight as they track you down.

If you set the arena up properly, you should have no issues with any memory sequence whatsoever.

Practice the fight, it's as simple as that.

The fact that people cannot do it is a GOOD thing... It's a Pinnacle boss Afterall and they obviously have not learned how to do it correctly/consistently.

Please, you are shittin yourself if you pretend its not hugely luck-based, and if you are the kind who dont skip the memory game like me, you know for a FACT the layout of the sections the game asks you to go to makes an immense difference in the amount of dodging you have to do and can easely be the hardest points of the fight

As i said, if youre lucky, you dont even need to consider the spheres(in fact, most of the time, they are not a factor, even if they do get in the way, you can zip across with a dash unless you messed up and theyre all over the place), running 1 lap and doing some back and forth is extremely easy spheres or no spheres, but if the game decides for no or little back and forth and ask you to just run full laps across the arena, theres nothing simple in THAT unless you have a mageblood to give permanent quicksilver

Whoever moved the Maven infront of Sirus as importance is just trolling and spitting in my face.

Fixed it.

I used to play Simon Says. (The game with 4 coloured quadrants that light up in an increasingly long pattern you have to memorize.) I was fairly decent at it.

But I've watched people fight the Maven multiple times, and I've never been able to clearly spot the purple flashes in the memory game.

Perhaps it;s just me, but the purple flashes aren't distinct enough for me to easily distinguish, so a lot of the time it simply looks random to me which area somebody runs to. I can see the green flash of an area being stepped on successfully, but that doesn't help me.

With Simon Says, the colours stayed lit longer and were much more noticeable.

I haven't actually attempted the Maven fight myself yet, but I just know that I'm going to have a terrible time with the memory game.

And while I already can't quickly distinguish where the purple flashes are, trying to see them along with all of the rest of the things going on will just make it all the more difficult. The problem won't be getting to where I should go, or remembering the sequence, but just knowing what the sequence is.

The maven fight was designed by someone who likes Simon and maybe that Bop It / Twist it / Pull it toy.

I dont really care because we could all ignore her, except that they gate atlas completion behind her now.

Exactly. theres a HUUUUUGE difference between having to go full circle and have to just zoop zoop between 2 zones. Today i got top left right top left right and even with perfect movement i almost failed it. And i had the degen perfectly centered.

Any low dps build will have 2 or 3 rounds of degens to manage, if theyre not all stacked in the middle and you get the full circle memory phase then you're fucked.
Why the hell does maven drop awakened gems now? And the droprate is total azz.
Farming the crucible/maven for splinters in is awful lol I think I very much preferred the conquerors/Sirus to be honest.
