The Maven fight needs to be fixed.
It's absolute bullshit.

I don’t really like the maven fight, but that’s mostly because I hate the rotating beams in the last phase. And I really only hate them because of how long you get fucked for after touching one.

the only problem with the fight i have, is that its scaled with dps.
very good dps = stupidly easy low dps = harder the lower the dps. and not because the fights takes longer and you need to move more, memoery game etc. but because the fight mechanics which need to be stacked(ground dot). even with good movement you will make the last phase a lot harder. everything else? learn to dodge or build to outlast. " It isn't its a trough like practically every fight easiest is mega dps or mega tank, as you move away from these it gets harder with the hardest actually being meh dps and meh tank where your well and truly at max challenge. Some fights have a slight bias one way or the other, Sirus is almost free as soon as you can't die to die beam, Uber Elder is definitely stacked towards DPS due its soft enrage mechanic etc. I personally like Maven conceptually as a fight but she has too much health for melee, I don't know if GGG realise that when they design a boss that teleports regularly its the equivalent of putting a 30% less damage as a map mod. Not so bad if you can immediately get back on them (Uber Elder/Shaper/Elder etc) but on Maven not touching the beams is a core mechanic. Tbh they have a problem with the way fights are approached by different groups of the playerbase, Maven is like a great culmination fight that you do very rarely for a character that can just about manage it, however some players just blast it and blast all the mechanics so the rewards have to fit them instead.
