Thats a complete lie. Its basically always the same price than 1500 fusings. You have no idea what you're talking about.
I literally checked the price in trade before posting, both today and yesterday.
In Fuse to Exalts, it's roughly 2990 Fuse, or 4 Ex.
League starts have been at roughly 10 ex because of rarity and the fact people want to leap into their BIS gear for build as early as possible. Why do you think 6L Fleshcrafters were 10 Ex, and Corrupted ones 12 Ex? It's a mid tier drop, as is Doryani's. But most were crafted using Fated Connections, so people spiked the prices because they knew the demand was there.
I've had both those tops and sold a +2 Duration Flesh for 20 ex, and a -27% Lightning Doryanis with level 22 Herald of Thunder for 30 ex. Mostly due to 6L.
Common 6L's dont sell as much (The Queen's Hunger) because Uniques have a high % of dropping with full link compared to other drops. 1 in about 20 Queens drops 6L, so it only sells 1-2 ex.
But ofc you wouldn't know this, because you only play Standard Non League, where 95% of the entire supply is players' refuge from old leagues, and even Legacy items sell cheap for 3-7 ex, and more mainstream items that cost 20 Ex to make can be bought for 5-6 ex.

You realize the league is 1 day from deletion? "Literally just checked the price" lol. Try checking the price when a league is actually going on.
I only play standard non league?
The only leagues i didnt get 36 challenges since talisman are heist and scourge. Thats 2 leagues skipped in more than 5 years.

Will miss this prophercy - always had bad luck with rolling 6L with fusings.
The 1500 fusing recipe was always more pricy than the prophercy. Because people needed to make it cheaper to be able to sell it, otherwise everybody would use the recipe instead.
Additionally if the fusing chance is 1/1500 for 6L then you need to use 3500 fusings for 90% chance of success and around 7000 for 99% chance.
1500 is at around 60% chance by itself, but its worth mentioning that quality of item increase the chance for 6L.
1) The Prophecy Price has always been about DOUBLE the cost of the Fusing Prophecy, because people pay for convenience and access to the 6L Recipe has always been elusive (most people don't even know where it is because they don't look at those gray windows; some of the people here even admitted they don't know by still calling it Delve). Summit isn't a cheap nor early map, so people definitely don't all have it done.
2) The odds base at 20% is 1 in 1200. The odds at 30% is 1 in 720. Your numbers are fabricated and wrong, based on the emotions of people always scared to complete 6L.
1)I 6linked with the prophercy since it came out - so don't tell me how much it costs, I have enough expriance in it. Only in one league it was like 10% higher than 1500 fusings, because the league had high player retention, meaning it had low supply of items. Usualy the price revolves at around 1200 fusings.
2)You obviously don't know how probabilities work.
The values I wrote are without quality and thats how you calculate probability of near quaranteed outcome, which is equal to 99% chance to occour.
To reach it without quality you need to use 7000 fusings or 5400 with 30% quality item.
What you stated is called "expected" value with is 50% chance and is equal to 800 fusings on 30% quality item.
It means that 50% of people will success by the time they use their 800th fusing, but the last few % of population (of the unlucky ones) will need 5400.
Thats why many people don't like current system, because their luck didn't go into "expected" result range.

Well i belive average is around 1200 Fuse, for 20 % Quality. And you can do it guaranteed for 1600 at crafting bench.

I think i had a bad streak around 4500 Fuse one league, but also had 1 league 6 linking in less than 100 Fuse, :-)
Arguing about being lucky or unlucky in linking gamble, classic.
Why not discuss "RIP Trash to Treasure"? With prophecies removal all the shaper/elder influenced uniques became extremely hard to obtain. Orb of Chance? What a joke... Goodbye shaper Call of the Brotherhood.
Or for that matter, RIP Twice Enchanted.
