endless delirium...

as for my feedback, GGG simply doesn't understand how their own tech works around delirium
an easy fix should be:
in part 1 of the game delirium shouldn't be over 60%
in part 2 delirium should be at maximum of 85%
and 100% for endgame or even put over 100% for red maps

there would be ZERO excuses if it were made like this

Their event description implied that it was made like that. They said they had detuned Delirium levels in campaign areas where you had to kill monsters/bosses in order to progress. I'm not sure if Brutus at Delirium 85% constitutes 'detuning' in GGG's view. Especially considering that the vast bulk of characters don't even have their main skill at that point and are using Splitting Steel, Caustic Arrow or Stormblast Mine.

None of the zones prior to Library should have been over 50% imo. That at least would have given players a chance to get established. Or, if they wanted the odd surprise really tough area, make it a non-essential area like Fetid Pool or Market. Buffing Docks would also have been fun because there are no monsters you have to kill there, you just need to find the Sulphite. So making that a 98% zone where players are scrambling frantically to find the Sulphite chest with a horde of Delirium nasties on their tail would have been fun and challenging without being a progression-killer.

at least for me i thought they would limit just like in delirium league which was 33% with the mirror
and also nobody (at least that i know of) could reach or kill bosses like brutus with delirium in the campaign, there was simply not enough time

This event is a joke, a bad joke. You do bareley any damage to mobs so you end up spending minutes and minutes killing them. 85% delirious act one area for chars with basic skils and gear? Yea, really "good" idea...

This had the most potential of the events... this is really sad how badly they fucked this up.

exactly this

was looking forward to this one, but its a deep disappointment, well to untested / overtuned implementation

sad sad, but okay ... delete and go i guess
and now harmless posts are also being deleted here, oh man, it's time for a divorce i think.
thats so bad man
I planned to get to 85 but the fact that the delirium % does not change either every hour or with every map entering, it takes a bit out of the event.
So stopping at 70

As SC scrub I don't really mind the leveling portion to be fairly hard. Got to maps in 9 hours, some bosses were chain death kills but I still ended up with 40 deaths up to A10 Kitava.

But considering this to be 10 day voided event, I expected a bit more spike in being rewarded. I don't really see why this is voided. There's basically nothing extra unless you push for deep juicing.

3.13 was the golden age.
Update! I've failed to quest in 100% delirious crypt level 2 for the past ohhh 45 minutes. I'm just about to go completely postal. New year sets the pace I guess.

This is not what I expected from the poe team. Run away and keep running and run more, playing not needed, 1978239178234 mobs jamming every corridor in cramped spaces in ACT 2 is not funny.

One reset of the area, I had one of those reviving mobs at entrance so I killed it. It took over ten minutes.

EDIT After one more try - I have to say that topping the act 1 experience in this event should have been impossible. I WILL NOT LET YOU WIN, I WILL NOT.

Brutus.... 98% delirious.. took 10 fucking minutes to kill nice damn event
Took me more then 1 hour to reach the ledge, no unique items drops, I'll wait for a few days before continuing, hopefully we'll get a patch on Monday or so.

There's no way I continue to play on 2L vs 80%+ delirious zones. Hopefully they will limit delirium to 20% something in act 1.
Reading reddit and forum today gave me bursts of laughing. Gotta thank the commumity a lot for this :P
