Changes to Rewards in Path of Exile: Scourge

Well... scourged items still have the problem of uninteresting upsides (melee reflect, a little bit of resistances, a little bit of flat life) paired with PUNISHING downsides (huge -global defences, decreased life, can't deal damage etc). Scouring items is already a huge risk and inconvenience to future crafting, I don't understand why a severe net negative should even exist.

It's like working a job and finding out that you can either make $15 or owe $30 for that hour. And it's a job that has a high likelihood of injury or death.

Not a very wise update. Give in to children throwing a tantrum and all you get is more tantrums.
It's a step in the right direction, but anyone who's satisfied with this patch has no idea just how unrewarding this league is atm.

Buffing the scourge part of pre-Scourged items makes zero sense, as they're always dogshit when they can't be master-crafted.

Bottom line: Tone down the damage spikes (looking at you lightning-arc monsters) or this will feel just as shit as it has since the start.
