Just got scammed, can we get an anti trade scam system implemented any time soon?

Seems like a simple object timer set for 3 seconds would work fine for this.
When you put an item in trade window you cannot remove it for 3 seconds.

Also a HUD notification, "Trade Items have Changed".
Simple and no prolonged hassle for anyone.

Yet another suggestion which really boils down to "You guys should remove trade all together because we can't handle it".

I mean yea we should just remove anything that gets balanced by being super boring. If that's their strategy for something it's clearly not working.

To reduce amount of bots and scammers from a trade, why not do like Steam did in Dota. Restrict trade function with mobile phone number verification. 1 mobile phone number per account and make it a repeatable verification every 1 or 2 weeks, so bots can't use random internet phone numbers.

"still sane exile?"
based on your post i would say no

its not just that you want far more personal data from players out there, you want them to check the information every week?

the system is perfectly fine
you CANT be scammed in poe if you pay attention

yes,ppl that do these sawps should be punished and banned
however punishing other players, because there are bad ppl out there and some other ppl cant pay attention when they trade?

they really sad part is,all this wouldnt stop this from happening...

The game does already force you to hover over each item again iirc.

I wouldn't be opposed to this suggestion, though.

Yea, in this case it seems the player saw the intended item which was then card swapped as they hovered over and clicked accept. A trick of the eye and a touch of impatience.

A sound and HUD notification can go a long way for something like that.
