Paying a couple of bucks for some QOL is not p2w. P2w would mean paying some cash for bonus stats or something similar. If you said PoE is p2w because you can get a truckload of exalts for the price of some beers off RMT, I would have agreed. As it is, your logic is completely tits up.

Lmao stash tabs aren't P2W.
Also making money is easy as hell you don't need 40+ tabs to make money. Buy a supporter pack, use the points on tabs and you never need to spend money ever again. If you can't be bothered to drop a little bit of money on a f2p game for convenience then you can only blame yourself lmao. Go mow a lawn or something for $20 and save yourself from only having 4 tabs. |

Last weekend I quit playing D2R because I just couldn't get on (Don't read into that, I'll go back to goof around when I'm done with 3.16 and the D2R servers are stable). But when I could get on, I started to wish that the game was free like POE and that instead I could buy $40 worth of stash space rather than spend $40 on the game. The revenue to the company would have been the same from me, but I wouldn't have to mule nearly as much.
For some players muling and smaller stash space is reasonable, and they would in turn be able to play the game without forking over $40. But for others that have hoarding issues (like me), they could spend the equivalent on the game they otherwise would for additional stash space. I think POE got it right. They kind of backed into the pay to play model without forcing you to pay, enabling you to choose what the right stash size is for your personal needs. For some that space is 4 tabs, for others like me....well let's just say it's a lot more. That being said, the default 4 tabs should be premium. Or at least one of them should be so people can trade easier. Thanks for all the fish!

PoE is definitely not a P2W game - certainly not using official and legal routes to buy. If you want to break the rules, you can buy currency or complete sets - but you make the game easy at your own request and it is not allowed.
Buying currency is the best thing that happened to me when I played Path of Exile. There are all kinds of orbs, Exalted orbs, orb of regret, Scourge, Vaal orb, chaos orb, and many other currencies. Buying poe currency is great, I know it and my neighbors know it. I know a certain Janek, he is a retailer, and I am a wholesaler. Best market = buy poe currency IT'S quite a lot, and I want to make sure everything looks good.
