The truth of how to make currency, P2W or Not

The truth of how to make currency is to play 10h a day. Or more.
I dont get the discussion. Define winning in PoE? How can a game that has no goal other than what a person defines for himself be P2W? It doesnt make any freaking sense. It can only be P2W if you compete with other players for the very same goal which is arbitrarily set by each and every player. Since every zone is accessible to everyone it makes no sense to state someone can win. You cannot win in PoE; or in other words: you cannot loose.

Obviously, having stash tabs is massive QoL and I know because I have played 3 years without them before I finally invested I think it was $12 to get a prem stash tab, one for currencies and one for maps. That's 2 beer here. I figured its worth it. Befor that I had one char per league and all the other char slots filled with twinks with stuff. It was aweful. But nevertheless I made it through content. Stash tabs made it a lot easier.

That being said though, having stash tabs is not winning in PoE because there is no condition that equals to a win; there is also no direct competition ergo no winning. Of course, if you want to be the first to kill a boss, the first to get 1k ex, the first to get to lvl 100 it is a lot easier when you have stash tabs etc, probably even mandatory. But then its on you if you want to get competitive in an ARPG that is not really ment for that. Then I would also go for a build that doesnt require hitting buttons, scales easily without gear and maybe some MTX so you look cool and stay motivated to be the first to 100. But even then you can be first to 100 without any stashtabs or w/e. P2W it is if you could buy experience or gear. Get serious guys, please. There is no P2W element in PoE, only QoL elements. For any given race, a stash tab is useless compared to many other factors like build, knowledge, skill, motivation etc.

Good on mbXtreme, if indeed that's what's happening. I'd delete your comment too if you came onto my video a year after it's posted to be toxic and reference another content creator in the process. Nothing wrong with that.

The truth is, there are many ways to "make currency" in this game, but playing a lot and efficiently is probably core to all of them (as mbXtreme says). Sure, you'll make more currency faster if you have more premium tabs and an efficient strategy to organize them and use them to trade.

Does that make the game P2W? Who cares. There are as many definitions of P2W as there are players. There isn't a single piece of playable content in the game that is locked behind $$. So from that perspective, it's not P2W to me.

But can you get there faster by buying some tabs and making good use of them? Of course. That's what they're there for. If that's your definition of P2W, then whatever. That's not a meaningful definition to me. If it's important to you, then grow up and go play some other game.

Wrong. The truth of how to make currency is to know what works best in any given league. Knowledge > time. Always has been, always will be. You could make your a couple thousand chaos per hour in delve on day 1 if you figured out how. You could run maps all day long seven days a week and you wouldnt even remotely end up with the same.
I still think that GGG would do well to set up a fund players could donate to to pay for tabs they could distribute to players who need them but can't for whatever reason buy them. GGG would sell more tabs. Players would quit whinning about P2W or not. All you would have to do is jump through what ever hoops they had in place to keep tabs going to deserving players and not bots.
Nowadays "winning" mean "I envy other person something". In PoE it is amount of currency they have. They envy them they have more currency anda ll those fancy items.
When people say "PoE is P2W" it just means they envy someone they have more currency while seeing they have all those shiny MTX and premium tabs, so ofc they blame the money, not themselves.

hi
You can put your items on the market , but if you don't have a small army of "minions" willing to buy your items even if they don't need them , just to help you , like the streamers have , you might not have the same success like them , no matter how many trade guides they tell you to follow .
