This league is dead 3.16 has to be as dope as can be!

I strongly suspect that there are huge differences between players who trade and players who don't. Players who don't trade aren't necessarily in Solo Self Found, as there is no reason to be except for bragging rights. I'd love to know what percentage of the 1,000,000+ players who play every league ever execute a trade. I suspect that the vast majority have never traded and will never trade.

Judging the health of the game based on this metric only gives you an insight into the proportion of the players who trade and there is likely a strong correlation between those who trade and those who want the game as easy and as determinative as possible.

Furthermore there is likely an even smaller proportion of players who trade that actually sell anything or that care about the market price of things. Plenty of players who trade do so just to buy a key unique for their build and they just pay whatever the prevailing price is at that moment. They otherwise don't pay attention to the general market and by this point they are just playing their maps and getting on with their lives.

The majority of people who care about the market, use it aggressively and care about it even tangentially finish the game super quickly relative to non-traders. That's the point of trade, right? It's a shortcut.

So, you should expect that the vast, vast majority of the players who are left playing the league are people who aren't and never would have been people who care about trade and probably aren't thinking of their maps in exalts/hour.
"percentage of the 1,000,000+ players"

Hahaha, I mean I wish. The economy would be a lot smoother.

Its maybe 200,000 including ALL the bot and aurabot accounts, per Steam and the GGG ratio (mentioned only in podcasts).

Dropping to 100,000 within 5 days.

Still nothing to sneeze at, I mean at this point its probably 10k a day.

I mean it will be around a milion players. You have over 100k at any given time on steam alone during launch. Even if it was like 50/50 and console players, lets say its 250k logged in at the same time, 1 milion players is realistic.
League like a league, imo whats bad this league is whats bad every league.

I even would rate Expedition league higher than Ultimate, Heist and Ritual, even after nerf notes factor. Because there are expedition fights in maps, but also Logbooks, but also NPCs that are almost what we needed to see in-game. And for comparisson: Heist was shit af in performance while its rip-to-lose-all and leveling bandits to run Grand Heist was boring; Ritual was fun mostly because of Maven changes, Ritual itself wasnt that amazing and even annoying with tribute rng; needless to say Ultimatum was also shit in performance and risky>rewarding and boring after Ritual.
Slow down for a minute to enjoy the beauty around us.
Don't mind if the challenge is harder but with all the nerfs to builds AND rewards,... i've gone to Escape from Tarkov for now.

Will check in if anything changes dramatically..
My guild have 20-30 active players at early league, now only 1 RMT guy still online.

I have bought 2 copy of D2R, will start my farm in D2R with 1 MF sor plus 1 BO bb after 8 AM Sep.23, I don't think I will back to POE in 6 months.
GGG has to do a complete 180 degree turn for people to come back. Next league is actually crucial. If people come back and find the same badly designed game, they will probably leave for good. Adding the d2r release and last epoch's new patch, poe is going to take a huge hit. And that's good. Maybe that forces ggg to fix their game for once.
League is goood, 3.15 patch is bad.

league is bad, patch is bad (imo)

too much micromanagement

reading mods, placing explosives, detonating, opening chests, picking up splinters = terrible gameplay not fun at all, not only it breaks the usual action gameplay flow (something like blight, but even worse), it demands tons of clicking

here's how it should have been:
- you meet the guy and explosives already pre-established
- difficulty of the encounter scales with map quantity (all garbage mods like immunities should be removed)
- all you have to do is to pull the trigger
- after league mobs are killed, all chests are opened automatically when encounter ends and all splinters are vacuum picked-up

so something like abyss 2.0, but improved, since no random movement of cracks and addition of vendors and logbooks.

thats. fucking. it.

i have no idea what the hell ggg was thinking, as usual, its more tedium and clicking for the sake of... what? only reason i see is they want players to get RSI faster, only explanation i can provide.

as for the patch, feedback is already given. i still consider it the worst in this game's history (i'm playing since legacy league i think). have never seen such a step backwards, and recent steam reviews back up my point of view.
dead game
bring back 3.13

Placing bombs is very annoying and kills the flow of action, which is fatal for the game’s vibe where zoom zoom is the primary design focus.
