Diablo Clone very unlikely to live to long.. Gameplay is way off. Feedback. (outdated)

As for my thread the gameplay feels like crap, like a ps2 game or something, I feel like my character hits like a girl, or someone chopping at a damn tree.. Wheres the intense hit in a regular hit??? I dont want my other skills hitting just a tad bit harder... I want to see my enemy taking the blow to the damn head or body and flying a bit or a little animation.

If you don't like the game, don't play it. It's that simple. Personally, I love it.

The potions make no sense either... why do i have like 5 or 6 slots for potions that refill AND it only reloads one at damn time and barely my health ones...

I have two Medium and one Large health potions and two Medium mana potions for my Witch, and I keep running low all the time.

Also the combat is way off I cant even hit my damn target right without it moveing every damn time or missing a slight bit.... makes no sense for a miss on my skills either.

I don't have a problem with the combat at all. I swing my sword. I hit stuff. Stuff dies. What more do you want?

I dont know but this game wont be better then Diablo 3 but its a good attempt, and for 20 bucks or 10 you cant go wrong but I got 60$ so its all good. I want good gameplay but this feed back to help them out so....

Diablo 3 has a ginormous budget and a huge development team. Path of Exile is a small indie-game with a minimal budget released for free, made by a small development team. *Of course* Diablo 3 is better. That doesn't automatically make this game bad.

I've been keeping an eye on this thread and am prepared to lock it if the discussion gets out of hand. So far the posts have been relatively civil considering the purpose of these threads is to be uncivil.

I tend to leave a thread like this open if possible because it serves as a good troll/fanboy outlet. The raging and arguing and name-calling mostly happens here instead of spilling into other threads where actual meaningful discussions are being held. It's also true that if I lock or move this thread another one just like it will be made in a couple of days. Hopefully in a couple of months once D3 is old news these threads will become less common (wishful thinking).

I know some people tend to look at these threads and feel like the mods aren't doing their job. We've discussed in the past how we want to try to handle these threads and we definitely keep a close eye on how they develop to ensure they stay in bounds of the explicit forum rules.
