Streamer Big Ducks unloads on GGG and people who attack those critical of GGG
Thankfully Chris completely changed GGG's course on the nerfs that he had planned for 3.16+ due to negative player response to 3.15. Now the only nerfs promised for 3.16 are for fortify on casters and aurabots.
The horrible game that Chris wanted as the core game is going to be split off into a separate "hard mode" and regular players will soon be back to playing a fun game. The only hard part is going to be the wait! November for partial fixes to the game, January or February for a significant improvement. |

" Chris thinks that if you slow down the game by 2-3 times, then the online will be more stable.. And the loot he will still weaken even more, about this he said on the podcast. That's why I don't even know if it's worth going back at all. ✨ Beta tester Path of Nerf 👀

not worth coming back if they keep this 'nerfing fun' direction. I'm just going to keep watching every now and hope that maybe someday they un-destroy the fun mechanics like shotgunning, cluster jewels, double dipping, spark, molten strike, mana stacking, stat stacking, coc, etc. right now, when there is some semblance of synergy, they shut that shit down hard. I hope they continue in this direction so until i get tired of coming back to check and never look back.

" Thankfully ? It is as horrible as it gets right now. Couple of days and i'm stuck at lvl 90 with 0% progress. oh hey, these 3 little bosses on a T16 maps with not powerful negative mods can and will one shot you without you even being able to see them. 6 portals wasted, hours of getting experience and couldn't even see them. chance of this happening ? not rare. "Literally had nothing to do with negative response. Their direction was to get all the nerfs out of the way this patch so they can deal with other things. Stop trying to pat yourself on the back as if "we did it", you didnt. Gotta love when people have such a high self importance from themselves that they think any complaining they did is the cause for TWO expansions worth of upcoming changes theyve clearly been planning for months. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in! Labyrinth salt farm miner. "But my build diversity" , "Game is too hard!" - Meta drone playing the same 1-3 builds for years. This is the best review of the game we supported with so much passion and finally someone really addressed the hardcore truth. A lot of us spent hours loving, supporting the game and above all reserving alot of free time for this game just to get 1-shot off screen for example. The feeling of no point, wasting your free time and caring for the game.
Is this what we deserve after all this years ?! =/ GGG thank you for all the great things you are doing. You have combined every element of all other great Rpg's and joined them together as one Diamond, that will shine Forever.
This is coming straight from the heart <3 |

" During the 3.15 reveal Chris said that 3.15 was only the "start of the nerfs" and that 3.15 wasn't the big nerf patch IIRC. That's why almost the entire softcore community were biting their nails in fear of GGG doubling down and continuing nerfing the game after 3.15. Alot of people who liked this league made posts about this and welcomed the coming future nerfs to the game as they shared Chris Wilsons vision. It's pretty clear that after the loss off 68% player retention in 3 weeks, 30% loss in revenue and the overwhelming bad reception galvanized by angry softcore players, GGG has decided to change the initial plan of what they were trying to do with the game. If the league would have been well recieved and kepts it's usual player numbers, it's probably safe to assume that GGG would have gone on with their vision to nerf player power as they initially planned. I'm certain that having a vast majority of reddit, streamers and even forum users contributed to why GGG again seem to have decided to change their design philosophy. The massive loss in player numbers aswell as the loss in revenue are probably key numbers that signaled to GGG that their house was on fire. It's funny that you believe that all the whining by players had no effect on their design decisions when LITERALLY every whining point was brought up by GGG and alot of them are said to be looked at or even fixed. That's why the "We hear you" statement by GGG has become a meme at this point. - People cried over damage nerfs and that if this was only the start as Chris said earlier, they wouldn't come back for next league -> Chris promised no more nerfs next league, only buffs except for fortify nerf. (Probably because casters have no means of defense and all use fortify which are meant for melee). - People cried about aspirational content and no endgame -> GGG promises to add more endgame (Insert Uber anything) - People cried about Atlas being to grindy and taking too long -> GGG reduces atlas to 4 regions and map base to 100 maps from 162 - People cry about too much Splinters -> GGG says less splinters in future leagues (They thought making expedition stuff drop in stacks would solve most issues but people still cried) - People cried over flask nerfs and garbage flask design with how Implicits and Suffixes worked -> GGG talks about maybe reverting the flask nerfs. - People cried about chase uniques -> GGG promises that all future uniques will be super strong. - People cried over random offscreen oneshots -> GGG talks about buffing player defenses, adding more sources of ailment immunity and nerfing monsters. - People cried no deterministic crafting -> GGG said there's a place for some determinism in crafting and that they're looking into it but they don't want players to deterministically craft perfect items. - People cry about dropped loot being useless -> GGG talk about adding the well rolled system to dropped rares in the future. - People cry about screen clutter from items and FPS issues -> GGG talk about a massive decluttering and allowing for Lootfilters to hide actual item models. The list goes on. Literally every big talking point about the negative aspects of the league and the game in general was brought up and talked about during the Baeclast interview. You'd have to be delusional to believe that the player outcries had no effect on GGG and their future design philosophy. |

There's no point wasting your time argue with the vocal minority. The founder of this game already confirmed what we need. Let them live in their small bubble will ya?

"Lol thinking everything that changes about the game is entirely attributed to your complaining is pretty funny. Unwarranted self importance. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!
