This point often comes up in discussions about unrealistic things in video games/ fiction.
The thing is, the in any genre there's a set of ingredients to the universe that is created that is not realistic. In fantasy we have magic, creatures like dragons, gnomes, dwarves, …, but all in all other things work normally. Gravity still pulls stuff downwards, there's a general consensus that effect should follow cause and that the effect should be logically linked to the cause (so, sticking my sword in person A should lead to the demise of A, not to something totally absurd like candy dropping from the sky).
And thus practical battle gear should not include shoes that would impede the wearer. Of course you can explain that away with magic - the shoes were enchanted to look like that, but they're actually ordinary battle greaves. But start doing that and you'll end up with an incoherent mess or a universe that is hard to feel at home in.

More character modells in tight catsuits, too , please. They can be enhanced with completely unpractical but cool looking accessories.

Heels are optional, but can be.

Yes, action heroes in games are sexualized, so are action stars.

Yes, and please some boys in cat suits, too. There are other boys who like this, and a lot of girls.

I have worn something like this for a stage show once - the girls liked this very much.... the boys, too. (Most of the cast was gay - the other had lots of nice girls to look at). Nothing wrong with that.

High heels are impractical, but wings big enough to fly back to Oriath aren't? Weapons in excess of the wielder's own mas aren't?

Yes, problem to virtue signal on twitter, only to harm real women 1 minute later in the office. Because world is about nerfing ass size of fantasy characters, not about being nice to real people.

Companies just love to say how vegan and green they are, only to fly on private jet to the cannibal islands and it is how things ofcourse should be and it is not sickening at all.

So lets talk about real issues, like character's hands being too smooth, characters not being fat enough to represent today's society, high heels, not enough men ingame wearing woman clothing, lack of ability to free our pets in to wilderness etc

For the record I don't like those two either. I actually hate wings as a cosmetic. The oversized weapons in POE aren't nearly as bad as in some of those asian games where someone can swing a sword as large as their body so I can tolerate them (and any smaller and we wouldn't be able to see and appreciate them without zooming in).

Like I said, I don't expect realism in a game based on magic and monsters but I don't want scantily clad bikini armored warriors in high heels either, because I can suspend disbelief with summoned demons but not with women running and fighting in stilettos. But I'm not a teenaged boy and that's the target demographic for most games.

Oh I like the game, and I barely see any of those "offending" cosmetics unless I'm AFKing in a town.

Now if this was a MMORPG with everyone running around with weird wings and bikini chainmail with high heels I would uninstall lol. Sounds like one of those korean grindfests.
