3.15 is alright, for people who know what to do. Casuals or part-timers, the worst patch ever
3.15 is NOT alright at all, I know what to do but this game has become a chore.

" Why? 15% is a good stat I think for an endgame boss. If it was 50% this boss would be a joke rather than an achievement. This stat also disproves the narrative this game was balanced around the 0.000001%. Its just not true. Its more likely PoE´s endgame is balanced around the top 20-30% of the playerbase, which is roughly comparable to the upper middle-class. Still excludes the majority as a true endgame boss/achievement should. |

Nah what I mean is. I did roughly 200 sirus/maven/feared carry services last league combined that is, not 200 of each.
A lot of people offer carry services and everybody who recieves a maven carry will get that achievement. So even if 15% of the active playerbase have that achievement, but never beat it by themself it would then again alter the "value" of said achievement, just in the other direction. I wouldn't call buying lategame completion, actively engaging with the lategame content. Farming salt on the forums since 2024

Understood.
Still doesnt make much sense to me tbh. Why do you assume players do actually care about those achievements or bosskills? I didnt kill Maven yet because I dont care about her or her drops. If I wanted to kill her I could do it. Sure Id prolly rip a few attempts learning the fight as per usual but once I learn the fight Maven will be just as much of a joke as the other endgame bosses. They arent hard and you know that. Sirus is a perfect example. He isnt hard at all. He is probably the easiest of all endgame bosses but you need to learn to read his moveset and avoid his Die-Beam. Thats all there is to this fight, yet players are still complaining to no end about this fight. Its unfair, undoable, pure dps check and what have you. They arent even trying, so why would they buy a carry if they cant even be bothered to learn something as simple as a moveset? |

" When I did kill her on my first attempt, dying twice I was devastated that the hardest part of the game was the memory phase, the fight itself is VERY mechanical, but if you have precise movement (evade beams/drop balls stacked) and use TELEPORTING movement skills it is very easy. Also no, it is not that I care about the achievement at all, it just feels so odd that the lategame content is so.... underused? Farming salt on the forums since 2024

" You said it yourself. The fight is easy but you do have to learn how to do it and then execute it flawlessly. In short: adapt or die. Just the same as this patch. Nothing really changed about the game, its just a tiny bit harder as long as you are willing to adapt. If you arent willing, well then this patch is horrific. This is what you are witnessing all across PoE related social media right now. People are unwilling to adapt and thus the game is bad although the "adapt or die" philosophy has always been the core of this game. Why would it be any different when it comes to endgame bosses? Im having a blast and tons of fun this league. I did adapt and Im testing the new skills. Right now Im playing a Reaper summoner and according to this forum, reddit and YT Reaper is the worst ever minion. Basically DoA. Yet I havent seen anyone truly trying to unlock Reapers full potential, all I saw was traditional summoner strats, those didnt work and thus Reaper is shit. As of now Im farming T10s on a budget setup with ease. Thats not true endgame content Im aware but the potential is there. Reaper is the single most deadly minion Ive ever played and a true bosskiller. Its just not great for clearing maps and you have work around that. Point is again: People arent even trying but instead rush to the conclusion everything bad, unfun and either throw a tantrum or quit. Last edited by Orbaal#0435 on Aug 5, 2021, 5:57:17 AM

I only did play to 88 this league, respecced twice for like 200 regrets total, and yet I quit on day 2-3, due to not having fun. It wasn't even the difficulty, it just lacked what I liked about playing PoE. It is really ahrd to pinpoint, but it felt like .... shi bad.
So my conclusion was to well, do the right thing -> log out -> do some activity I have fun with. Right now I am having a blast in dota/stalker/last spell. Then again I guess what really upsets me about this dumpster is. That a game I had fun in for about a decade, suddenly turned into a shit-fest for me, because of the statement: Hey guys, we just realized we devolped poe not in-line with our vision for the past 6years, soooo.... regardless what it became, we just gonna force our vision onto it now. It just feels like the lamest excuse EVER, as in did they deposit their vision somewhere half a decade ago and switched the service so they "suddenly" found it? Also the all out changes all at once, feel super bad and poorly thought out, before you nerf everything, you at least get poorly performing abilities in line with others. -edit- Another thing which I just came to realize, the nerfs to defensive layers feel terrible, when there is no way to adress the GAME GIVEN screen clutter, I mean sure you can chose your own skill to not add to the clutter, but a lot of instances visibility is barely existent. Those are problems which have been suggested for fixing for YEARS, for example baran ground effects which you often cannot see or gore effects tanking your fps from for example carcass jack which, if it wasn't for the gore effects is a decent league starter chest. I think I would feel a lot better about this patch, if they had started adressing some of those by now rather permanent problems, be it by adding opacity sliders to effects/skill gems whatever, but doing something which remedies all time problems of the game. People cant think for themselves so when Reddit/Forums say "game bad, me no like" they think "game bad, me no like". Its all hivemind mentality and honestly, if those are the types of people leaving the game, good riddance.
I cant wait to see all these doomsday comments/threads archived yet again when Path of Exile, yet again, becomes a better game after making major changes, like its literally done every single time in the past after major nerfs. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in! Labyrinth salt farm miner. "But my build diversity" , "Game is too hard!" - Meta drone playing the same 1-3 builds for years.
