Highly self aware, been playing this game on and off for quite a few years, seen my share of highs and lows with this games leagues. So yes i have seen the state of the games power creep for quite a few years now.

So i'm not allowed to:
1. See the trend of power creep creeping ever slowly early on in my time.
2. See that a small brave few also see the power creep and call it out early on.
3. See that the meta had shifted to further cement the power creep.
4. See streamers and youtubers exploit said power creep.
5. See forum users theory craft and build builds around said power creep.

What arbitrary level do i have to be in game before i'm given permission to do all of those? Sounds like i've hit the nail on the head and your lashing out with a desperate attempt to gatekeep in a last ditch effort to silence a dissenting voice.

Like other "bad" leagues this one will be looked back on in a league or two and the unwashed masses will realize it wasn't all "that" bad.

Ehh I get your argument but the diversity argument is literally irrelevant if you base it around the players that only follow what streamers do as it inherently can't be diverse.

However as a player maximum diversity for me was harvest, ritual or maybe the league after they added shaper. This is because the game state and tools we were given at those junctures was powerful enough to make shit work. Or in the case of said shaper league the game construct was simple enough that most skills felt achievable and the bosses didn't feel too bad if you did them slower.

I have no idea where this league stacks up so far, I want to say it has the potential to be very diverse but I don't actually believe i'm capable of beating anything endgame with most of these skills on HC which means its a major diversity drop over say ritual. Ultimatum was just as bad though because the league design heavily favoured specific setups.

I don't see that, I see players that have invested 1000's of hours voicing there concerns about the train wreck occurring before their eye of the game they love. And I'm pretty sure most of these players made it past lvl 60 too, to form a proper option on the matter.

Russian speaker here. Can confirm. Last patch was meh. Current patch is a headshot. Unlikely I'll be playing this game unless they make a u-turn or at least 90 degrees turn. The only entertaining bit this game currently has is reading the drama.

It's a bold strategy, let's see if it pays off for 'em.
