And yet the player number afterwards has been fairly stable. In fact, it went up a bit during the weekend.

Thinking in %, Expedition lost as many %players within 7days, as other leagues do in 30-60days... that is OUTSTANDING.

Ok. I admire the lengths to which you will go to justify your feelings and project them on what you think is the majority.

I mean it went down from 116k to 64k within 7days on steam, and thats taking the 24hours peak (so far 2. august is shown at 51k)
I do not justify anything, all I did post were ACTUAL STATS https://steamcharts.com/app/238960#1y also the pre-league attendance for expedition was ABYSMAL I think roundabout the worst ever. I did not post any of my feelings here, my opinion on the current patch and why is in the feedback section. I only wanted to add a scientific visual representation to the topic named like it. No, you focus on a single thing without any attempt to look at the bigger picture. The player drop is ~8% more than the similar drop during Harvest last year. And last year it was a lot harder to go on a vacation (no vaccines). Do note that Harvest was one of the best leagues ever according to the people who complain now, yet there was a significant drop in players despite most of us having to resort to our devices for entertainment.
Taking all of this into consideration what you bring up doesn't mean much. In fact, it goes directly against the notion that "the majority of players leave and the game will die" because, in fact, the majority of the players who came for the launch stuck around. |
