It's so evident that GGG is struggling right now,...Defend your game, defend their vision, but it is what it is, POE is in a crossroad. Nothing happens for acknowledging it. I'd say its more tedious seeing this contant whine than serious. People like to delve into drama and make bold comments like "this game is dying".

Its only 23% tho, that's hardly a quarter of PoE community that is not playing the league at the end of July when travel restriction finally open up after a 2 year global lockdown.

Feels like the doomsayers on the side of the roads crying out "the end is nigh, repent for your sins!".

^Whatever you say, the drama is real. Watch reddit, there are many complaints with 1000s of upvotes.
Second, streamers have become very important for the gaming industry. Their opinions matter a lot, as they are "influencers" in this industry if you like it or not. The guy has 1000s of hours in this game, so he can also evaluate more easily what the changes mean for the game.
People on this forum often just sugarcoat their opinion and discredit other opinions, this is getting ridiculous. If you agree with the current game direction, that's absolutely fine. But claiming there is just a little bit of an upset for no reason is a joke.
In a recent interview, Chris W. said that reddit matters in particular to them because of the inherent upvote system. Popular opinions can more easily spotted and identified. And this is what matters most, not the individual loudest or most aggressive stance.

I have played faithfully since 2013, spent hundreds on the game and have multiple pc accounts plus an xbox account. All uninstalled.

Obviously the game became more tedious and less fun with 3.15. Some people enjoy the added challenge and some don't. I am a casual player that plays poe to zone out not stress and 3.15 is not fun to me.

I have mixed feelings about the 3 month league mechanic anyways. It starts off fun even though I feel I have to dedicate an exorbitant amount of time to feel like I am moving forward. Thats only a personal thing and there is always std to play I guess but that's not as much fun either. Maybe longer leagues would be more fun to me idk like I said that's just a personal thing.

Going further into the leagues it always feels like I just wasted a bunch of time since it all goes into the trash can before im ready to be done. Now add in these punishing nerfs that do nothing but remove a big part of the fun and im done.

I wouldn't call it drama, I would call it disappointment.

Its literal a Drama, but not "Drama" like that "Drama" people talk about on the internet like something non-sense and to avoid, is a literal drama like something negative that HAPPENS to everyone, all people have their "drama" and is part of life...

Then yes, its a drama for lots of players, lots of players who was having fun that past 2-3 years with their favorite game Path of Exile, and that people are not having fun anymore because that changes, not just that, they even dont have the chance to say "lets go to standar because I dont like the league", no, the base game changed.

Then yes again is a drama, people need to find another game now that offer that fun, people who was supporting the develop of POE because they thought devs was doing even more content of that super fun game, and now that support looks like useless or "not important" because was from that "expected 23% of people who leave".

Of course not a drama like lose a friend or a brother, is just a game, then is not really a extreme dramatical situation, but lots of people is saying "I dont like, I leave" and most of you dont like to see all the negativity, I understand but is what happens, is a little price to "pay" compared to people who losed their favorite game, eventualy we will leave and not sharing anymore our opinion here, dont worry that is going to pass.

For who stay then have fun, good for you, for who will leave like me... see you there where new adventures begin.

Dude they also simply killed 1000s of characters in Standard that cannot use their skills anymore because of the higher mana costs. Did anyone test this patch before it came out, seriously? It cannot be that all existing builds people have built over the years are completely demolished, only for the long-term goal of aligning poe1 with po2 which is several yrs away from getting released. That, and the loss in movement speed (skills and flasks), are the worst changes for me.
