Reddit is WRONG

I just want people to stop being openly abusive towards GGG and other players. Whether they're actual children or just hiding behind anonymity, yikes.

100% agree

Game was peak fun before consoles and tencent.
Reddit is a fetid mire.
Reddit was a fanboys fest 1-2 years ago, it was almost impossible to criticize anything without being massively downvoted. *Something* happened, believe me.

It swapped for a reason. Or several reasons: several leagues chaining necros nerfs in my cases.

But that changes on POE today are just like D3, boring and simple.

This!
I went to PoE because was bored with D3... PoE 3.15 made me comeback to D3! ¬¬
Wrong. It's the same people here, there everywhere.

If you like this league, you are in the vast minority. a Unique opinion, so to speak.

Give it another week or two. Eventually, you get what you want. You create a game the way you want it to be, fine, less customers less money and vice versa.
Some people here have really funny attitude towards "reddit" it seems, i even been called a "redditor" by somebody for posting some meme on this forum, and probably a couple times in global chat for saying some of my thoughts that were different from blind fanboyism (they weren't blind criticism too, hehe).

Meanwhile, reddit is just one of the billion places in the internetz, and even the poe subreddit isn't all complaints - you can find things there like fan art, builds, memes and whatnot; even some of these "whiny" threads often contain constructive criticism and good discussion.

Oh, and if anyone still thinks reddit's a cesspool, i would sugeest going like 15 years back and visiting anonymous imageboards of old as they were - wild, unmoderated, spawning megatons of toxic waste with occasional diamonds floating in it. They were also quite good experience in terms of dumping that "i'm offended by slightest fart" attitude that is quite popular novadays.

Steam numbers are 60k below other leagues this year and well below numbers from 2019 (when even fewer had migrated to the steam launcher) and OP proclaims this league a success. I need you to come to my office and prepare my performance reviews.
Some things to take into account:

The numbers from this league haven't been this low since 2019.

Gaming is at an all time high when it comes to individual players due to pandemic.

The launch was on a weekend, yet saw numbers decline.

EVEN THE STEAM NUMBERS are lower than the last two leagues.

What does this mean? We are at a point in the world when game users have more time to play due to the pandemic, and yet we are seeing a large decrease in overall players at the start of the league. Dropped 20k active already? Yes....... Of course...... Reddit and everyone critiquing GGG must be wrong....
